this is a short one-shot

Strong, long fingers typing, always in motion, gesturing, grasping, analyzingBlue eyes cataloguing, capturing, riveting, downloading

A frown trapped between two sweeping eyebrows

Dark eyelashes sweeping away any chance for dust, barely ever closing

Hair messy, dark, begging to be touched, the softness calling

Chin: stubborn, proud and an indicator of moods; stubborn or relenting?

He turns his face toward me and I know I’ve been caught doing it again. But we both know I never really stop, I'm always at it, never ending.

A small smile

crookedEyes sparkling

Eyebrow curling

Amusement evident

Understanding as always

The laptop closes. Fingers stretch, trying to remember what it’s like to not be curled. Arms rise in another stretch.

Bones pop and snap back into alignment

Neck rolling, smooth, tense, begging to be licked, massaged, caressed

Standing on two strong legs, muscle built from running not sitting

More stretching

A glimpse of a smooth tight patch of skin, glowing, calling, beckoning.

I moan and he smiles leading me out of the lab, down the hall. I watch his six even though there’s no need. Its desire. He knows. He does it on purpose with smug arrogance. I don’t mind that he knows of my one weakness He is my weakness. He is my world. He is my everything. How can he not know? He’s a genius.

Tonight for the first time he winks at his door. Gesturing with that chin that needs to be licked, I enter into the den of my desires.

I love him, a man, a scientist, a genius, Dr. Rodney McKay
