Someone Had to Say It

By the time Will and the crew of the Black Pearl fought their way through
to their Captain, he was lashed to the wheel of the Marie Louise by his
manhood.

Gibbs couldn't help but goggle a bit as he stuttered out, "C-Captain! Are
you…are ye all right?"

"Well, not bad," Jack Sparrow replied, somewhat wearily, "considering the
obvious. 'S a good thing that Cap'n DeSand decided he'd rather humiliate me
than kill me, not that I don't hope he drowns, as I most definitely do…" He
looked at Will. "You did toss him overboard?"

"Did it meself." Not Will. Anamaria. Who was both goggling and smirking by
turns, and definitely tending towards the smirk more often than not. On the
other hand, so was Will.

"Good. Not that it matters in the long run, as this scurvy lot conveniently
forgot one thing." He paused.

In the silence, waves could be heard lapping against the hull.

"Ah, c'mon. Aren't any of you going to ask me?"

"What's the point?" Will responded. "We all know what they forgot by now."

"Aye. It's obvious."

"Doesn't bear mentioning."

"Will ye humor me, ye scallywags? I'm in a compromising position here."

"All right," Will sighed. "What did they forget, then?"

"That I'm ~Captain~ Jack Sparrow, and was that so bloody hard? And as such,
I have absolutely no shame. Can't humiliate that, can ye?"

"You said it, not us," Anamaria replied.

"Now, will one of you get me down from here?" The wheel gave a slight turn,
and Jack scrambled sideways.

"Oh, not just yet," the female pirate said. "I'm rather enjoyin' the view."

"Will, me lad?"

"The thing is, Captain, so am I."

"If ye don't get me down now, it's mutiny!"

"No it isn't. You're still the Captain, Captain, and we have every
intention of obeying your orders. Presently."

"All right. Do ye want me to beg? I'll beg. Just get me off this bloody
forsaken wheel, right now, if ye please. Please."

"And why should we?" Anamaria grinned openly.

"Have you no decency? Can't ye see?" His eyes widened, and an odd shudder
of expectation ran through the crewfolk. He threw back his head and
yelled, "IT'S DRIVIN' ME NUTS!"
