This is a beautifully sad story. I have read it twice now and it has brought tears to my eyes. Poor Fraser. He sits and waits for something that will never happen again. On the other hand, he and Ray seem to have lived a long and happy life with a home and family. Even that makes me cry, but not from sadness.
