Oh, I loved this! It was nice to see a b/d fic that doesn't jump straight into the scenario, but really makes you see how they GOT there--and if there was any time in Ray's life when he would DO this, it's immediately post-Riv. A beautiful depiction of his anger and the reasons (lost youth, lost Angie) for it.

Powerfully written. I'm hoping for a sequel, because I'd like to see Fraser overcome Ray's pessimism about the possibility of a future together.
