Usually I'm reluctant to read stories about this subject as they tend to be heavy-handed and unrealistic, but your story was very well done. The subject was sensitively handled and described in such a way that the horror of the events came through without being overly sensational. Most of all you remained true to the characters and their resolution of their trauma was very satisfying yet still realistic. Well done.
