Why isn't the adoptions page getting updates? Well I'm sad to say that there don't seem to be many Adoption pages out there anymore. Even some of these no longer exist so are no longer clickable. If I thought I had the time I'd start one of my own. Though I'm not all that sure many people still care as it was cute and fun for a while, but with the new graphics programs out anyone who can find decent pictures can make their own. Anyway that is why this page is no longer being updated. If I ever run across anymore adoption site that do actual bishounen then maybe I will. With that in mind of course we know that my current chibis are getting lots of attention. How do I know and how can you believe me? Well because a large number of them are now my current roleplay boys or their happy partners. Yes, I fell quite by accident (or design ^_~ unto the world of Anime roleplay and many of the boys from my adoptions/sigh page are either my characters or the bishounen they play with. Actually this would be a good place to let my Roleplay boys stand up and take a bow. What do you think?

These were my first two official adoptions! Omi and Nagi! Thank you Kerstin for helping me find a site that had them both! I'm sorry to report though that upon checking the link. the Hidaka Love Adoption Agency seems to be closed. So I have removed the link but still honor the valiant effort by making sure they are remembered.

The Animen site moved in the interim, but I've updated the link, it takes you right to the adoption page which unfortunately looks like it's closed at the moment for new adoptions. But even if you can't adopt right now you should check out their site. Just the layout on their opening page is worth it! Just scroll down to the bottom of their adoption page and click the home button. Thanks Little Raptor for letting me adopt Yohji!!

Well I can't even remember where I was trying to get Quatre from anymore. I think I finally gave up on them and dumped the link. It's sad though they had great bishies and I loved the little certificates and stuff. Anyway I decided that I would just have to adopt him some other way. I know the frames need work but this was my first try. I'll get better.

Quatre Raberba Winner

and
Trowa Barton of
Gundam Wing
What can I say?
I love a man
in uniform.

There are STILL lots of other bishies I'd like to have, but with most of the adoption agencies seeming to go bye bye.... And it's not as much fun adopting them yourself. LOL ~sigh~ Still if I had my way this page would be overflowing with my adopted babies and each and every one would be getting lots of love and cuddles.

Then there are also the chibi's, they seem to be the most prolific. Find well drawn ones is the hardest part and even that isn't hard. What's a chibi? you say. Well don't ask me for a formal translation of the word, I'm not sure what it is. I've always considered it the squashed together form of Cherubim and Bishounen. The picture of the Duo Chibi below will give you an idea.

Chibi Duo Maxwell. Heehee the bat wings are on purpose, I'm sure. Duo calls himself the Great Destroyer and anyone who see's him or his Gundam has a date with their maker. I have no idea who actually did this picture. I wish I did. I've seen it on lots of pages but it's never credited to anyone. If someone knows please tell me so that I can give them the credit they deserve and beg them for chibi's of all the others too! ~grin~

These are my five little bouncing bundles of Chibi Gundam joy. Aren't they just the cutest things you've ever seen? ~Uhm Wu-chan put down the katana and nobody will get hurt, especially the Mom, okay????~

Okay, I know the way I'm still carrying on here makes me sound like I'm 12. ~LOL~ But still seriously folks, everyone should have something in their life that makes them feel like a kid again, otherwise they really do get old. Anime just happens to be my thing. It invigorates me, rejuvenates me and generally makes me feel really good. And hey, when I was teaching it was a great way to relate to the kids too. ~grin~

If you'd like to take a look at all the other bishi's that I wanted but gave up for Omi and Quatre just click on the animated gif below. Please be patient it might take the page a minute to load.

Adoptions aren't the only thing out there though. You can also catch a bishi to train and you are allowed to catch as many as you want. When you catch a bishi, you become an official bishi trainer (heehee kind of like Pokeman ~grin~). What you finally decide to train your bishi for is totally up to you. Oh and just a note. If you would like to catch a bishi for yourself just click the 'I'm a Bishounen Trainer' banner. Below are some of the bishis that I have caught and finally have a place to display. I have so many that I'm afraid it would bog the page down way too much so I will have to switch them off periodically. ~g~
