dedicated to Dragonhulk, because when I did a series of BtVS/X-Men odd couple drabbles, he wondered why there were none featuring Xander. Now, Xander gets his own X-Men-Marvel crossover drabbles...

note: these will wander from season to season and/or series to story arc to movie, depending on what season's Xander I feel easiest to have encountering each particular X-person. There is no continuity from drabble to drabble.

X-Xander and...Betsy

Xander wandered into the building, feeling puzzled and resentful. Something about his parent's will, and if anything happened to both of them before he was eighteen, he'd go here, but nothing about why. Stupid parents, stupid will, stupid vampires.

"Hello." Xander felt his eyes getting bigger as he stared at the woman on the staircase. She was arguing with a redhead, and while the redhead was in a pair of jeans ad a regular shirt, the other woman. Wow. Purple hair fell her sash, and what looked an awful lot like a swimsuit revealed a lot of the most gorgeous and athletic body. She wore tall boots, and long gloves. Totally hot. And he had no idea who she was.

She looked over at him, and gave this odd little smile. There was a red mark like a scythe that covered one purple eye. "I'm Betsy, and I'm a telepath."

For a moment, Xander felt like he was surrounded by flame, but no, that was just embarrassment. A telepath. had she caught all of those half thoughts? "Xander. is me. I'm new here."

She chuckled. "Don't worry so much. It's sort of flattering."

Xander smiled weakly, trying not to think.

End Betsy.
