Wanted: Home For A Lost Soul
by Cee (Rockergal)
In a small town, a band of bikers were working on their bikes as it was a weekend. It was close to the anniversary of the tragic death of one of their own and they came to pay their respects and to reflect on how the man touched their lives.
The leader, Kevin Nash, was the most affected by the death. He and the man were lovers and were to be sealed in a ceremony on the man's birthday, which was a few weeks after. They were very close, sharing a connection not many understood but they did. They were soul mates and were meant to spend their lives together. He became withdrawn and almost left entirely. But, his friends convinced him it was the wrong thing to do. That he would not want him to go on alone. So, on the anniversary, he made a vow to have that ceremony. Even if it was to be over the grave, to him, it would be the same as if he was still with him. That made him smile. The thought of his love waiting on the other side for him for eternity made his life seem worthwhile after all.
The two biggest men of the band, Mark and Glen to the band as they were known, to the others they were known as Undertaker and Kane. Two men not to be messed with at all. People went out of their way to stay away from them. They watched over the band and made sure they
were safe. The death of one affected them gravely and they swore no one would go anywhere alone again.
Jeff was deeply troubled. They were close to his hometown but he was afraid of going home for fear his father stilled blamed him for the death of his best friend. So, he kept busy with his bike and the bike that his friend was restoring. He kept remembering them working on it side by side, sharing laughs and working in time to each other, seemingly knowing what the other needed before it was voiced. He missed that closeness most and wanted more than anything to have it
with someone again for he found himself lonely and sad. Not even Shannon or Shane could keep his spirits up whenever they came around.
Paul and Michael, also known as The Game and HBK to the town, were grim as they worked on their bikes. They were to be sealed in the double ceremony with Kevin and....they couldn't even say the man's name...even after all this time....they were still grieving. What was it about this man that affected them so much they did not know. Nor did they care. He did and that's all that needed to be said.
While in town, a stranger arrived on his brand new Harley. He went to the bar and sat to have a few beers. He heard gasps of shock as he took off his helmet but chose to ignore it. He was in search of his home after 4 years of being away and he felt that he was close. That was what on his mind and all he cared about. The past 4 years were VERY hard on him and he needed to find his home to recover and rebuild his life.
One of the people in the bar made a phone call to the band of bikers. For he knew all of them very well and he had to tell them the news of one of them in town.
Paul answered the call. "YEAH?" He growled. He was NOT in any mood to talk and wanted to be left alone in his thoughts.
"Paul? You're not going to believe this."
"Spill it, John." He demanded
John Bradshaw was watching the man closely. He could NOT believe who he was watching.
After John told him, Paul's jaw dropped. "NO WAY! He's DEAD! It CAN'T BE HIM!"
"I'm telling you Paul, it is him! I'm looking at him now!"
"You're drunk! Leave me alone!" He slammed the phone down and stormed off to work on his bike. 'No way.' he thought. 'He's been dead 4 years. Can't be him.'
Chapter 2
Michael had gone on ahead of Paul to town for parts. He parked his bike in front of the store and glanced across the street. His jaw dropped as he saw someone get on their bike and put their helmet on
"No. No way. I couldn't be." He said softly as the man drove past him.
The man stared at Michael. "Well, I'll be. If it isn't HBK." He said. He felt as though he would not be welcomed by his friend even as much as he wanted to believe he would be, for he didn't know where he knew the man. So, he drove off, never to glance back at him again.
Michael stared at the man as he drove past. "NO WAY! I MUST BE SEEING THINGS!" He said.
"Seeing what, baby?" Paul asked as he stood by him.
Michael jumped. He did not hear him walk up.
"No one. It was just wishful thinking." He said trying to come up with a reason for his shocked expression.
Paul just nodded. 'Strange.' he thought. 'Michael isn't one to lose his composure like that.' They walked into the store for the parts. Michael still trying to convince himself he was just seeing things.
The man found an abandoned warehouse and was staying there. Out of sight, so no one would know he was in town. 'Safer that way.' he constantly told himself. Not realizing that he was directly across the street from the band's garage.
Images kept running through his mind. Beatings, being kept chained to a pole, going hungry, a band of bikers, friends, a band of bikers. Why was it he couldn't get that image out of his mind? He knew Michael on sight. But, from where? His mind kept going back to that band of bikers. Was Michael part of that band? Was he? How would he find out? Who would help him?
Jeff saw the stranger ride into the warehouse. He kept waiting for the man to come out but never did. He had a feeling he knew the man but didn't want to seem too forward and go over there so he waited...and waited.....and waited.
Kevin's heart was suddenly lifted. He could not explain why. He felt as if the other half of his soul was returned to him but he knew better than that. That part was buried in a grave not far from here. It left him 4 years ago and would not return. No matter how much he wanted it to.
They all opted to go out to eat. They chose the diner next to the bar and sat at their usual long table in back. Jeff had told Shannon and Shane about what he saw. Kevin explained to Mark and Glenn what he felt and Michael told them about seeing someone looking similar to their dead friend in town earlier that day. Paul chose to keep quiet about the phone call he received from John. Everyone was confused. How was all this possible? Why now? Their friend was dead and gone. It was just wishful thinking on their part. Nothing more.
"But, what if it was possible?" Shannon asked.
"It's not, kid. Drop it." Mark growled.
"I know. But, just imagine. What would each of us do if he just walked in here and sat down like nothing ever happened?" Shannon asked.
"We'd be ready for the nut house cause there's no way it's possible." Kevin said.
"Myself, I would welcome him back." Michael said. "I know it's impossible. But, if I could see him just one more time, I'd tell him how important he is in my life."
"Mine too." Paul added. He wished on his last lucky star that it was possible. Not for his sake, but for Kevin's.
The man found his way over to the garage and peeked inside. He saw the antique bike sitting there and it took his breath away. "What a classic!" He exclaimed. He jimmied the door and hotwired the bike and took off to the warehouse. Then, he went back and got his. He was
going to fix the bike up and then return it. Why? He couldn't answer that. He just felt the need to do so.
Chapter 3
Each one of the band of bikers were lost in their own little world as they rode back to the garage. Each playing out in their minds how they would react if their dead friend came back into their lives.
As they got to the garage, they saw the door had been jimmied and they quickly parked and ran inside. Jeff's heart sank as he saw the bike he and his best friend were working on was gone. Paul, Kevin, Mark and Glenn were irate. Michael on the other hand suddenly felt as though he knew who took it. He might have been right all along. Who he thought he saw in town, he actually did see. What would they do? What would they say?
They split up and searched the town totally unaware they were being watched. As they rode away, the man rode his bike to town in search of some parts. He went to the junkyard and keeping his helmet on, he found the parts he needed in bikes that were to be demolished. He rode fast back to his place where he quickly set about refinishing the bike.
After a night of searching and finding nothing, the band decided to call and end to the search for the time being. They were exhausted and hurt. They believed everyone in this town knew to stay away from their garage but someone was stupid enough to break in and steal one of their bikes.
Jeff kept staring across the street. He saw the dim light coming from within and knew no one was supposed to be there. So, who was it? Would anyone ever find out? He did not want to nose in. He hadn't done that in a long time. The last time he stuck his nose in anywhere it didn't belong, it cost his best friend his life. No sir, he'd wait and see if whoever was in there would show up.
After two days of searching and of Jeff constantly watching the warehouse, the band went back to tuning their bikes. They did not hear the man walking over pushing the remodeled bike until he was in the stall.
"Hello." The man greeted smiling.
Everyone dropped their tools.....and their jaws.
"What?" The man asked. "Did I interrupt something?"
"Matt?" Paul asked. He could not believe his eyes.
"Yeah? How'd you know my name?"
"Don't you remember us, boy?" Mark asked.
"No." He answered shaking his head "Sorry, I don't. Should I?"
"We're your family, Matt." Jeff said softly as he walked over. "I'm your brother, Jeff."
Matt was confused until Jeff spoke. Then, he faltered, his mind flashing him images of his childhood. Images of himself....and....his brother.
Kevin was shocked. Too shocked to move until he saw Matt falter. Then, he was quickly by his side.
"Jeff?" Matt asked. "My....brother?"
Jeff nodded, smiling. "Yes, Matt."
Matt looked around. "Paul? Michael? Glenn? Mark? Shannon? Shane?" He looked up. "Kevin?"
They all nodded in turn, smiling slightly.
"But, how? How do I know you?" Matt asked then he fainted. Kevin picked him up and carried him to the house behind the garage.
"Because, we're your family, Matt." He said.
Chapter 4
Adam and Jason arrived in town. They were held back by the death of their father. They decided to quench their thirst and went to the bar.
They were seated at the bar having a beer when John approached
"Adam, Jason! So glad to see you made it!"
"We are too. Sorry we're late." Jason said.
"No need. I understand. You left one funeral to come pay respects at another."
"No, not a funeral, John. A memorial service." Adam corrected.
"But, it's not needed!"
"What?" Adam asked.
"You guys won't believe this, but, he's alive!" He shouted.
Adam and Jason looked at him shocked.
"No, John. He's not." Jason said grimly
"That's why we're here. To honor his memory." Adam added.
"I tell you, he's alive! Don't believe me? Go ask the others, they'll tell you!"
"John, as much as........" Jason started.
"GO ASK THEM!" He demanded.
They left. Each knowing it was not true. But, to calm the big man down, they left. They arrived at the garage, only to find it empty. They searched everywhere and decided to try to the house. They entered and saw everyone crowded by the master bedroom door.
"Hey, guys." Jason said.
They turned. Adam and Jason saw Kevin sitting on the bed next to a body they did not recognize. "Who's that" Adam asked.
"Matt." Paul stated.
Adam's and Jason's jaw dropped. "NO WAY!"
They were hushed.
"Yes, way." Michael said. "It is Matt."
Adam made his way over to the bed. "My God. It is Matt." He knelt down beside him. "But, how?"
"Don't have a clue." Kevin answered. "He knew our names and our faces. But, he did not know how."
"Makes no sense." Adam said.
"It will when I get to the bottom of this." Kevin growled. "If I find that's he's been abused in any way, I'll kill the bastards!"
Chapter 5
Concern grew for Matt as he didn't wake up the next morning. Mark went to the doctor's office and threatened to tie him up and take him if he refused to come willingly. The dr. checked Matt out and reported that it was dues to exhaustion and would be all right. If he doesn't wake within the next 24 hours, to call him and they'll take it from there.
Adam stayed by Matt's side. Kevin should've felt jealous, but, he knew how close the two were and would never refuse Adam time with Matt. Their relationship was more open than most, but, he trusted both men and knew they would keep each other safe.
Adam was deeply concerned. He had no idea what happened to Matt in the past 4 years or why he hadn't woken yet.
"Matt, what happened to you? Where have you been? Why won't you wake up and talk to me? You have any idea how much I've missed you? It's been lonely for me. When I lost you, or thought I lost you, a part of me went with you. A big part. I Love you, Matt. I'll wait forever if I have to just to hear your voice again."
Kevin smiled. He knew how deep the love was. Even though he and Matt planned to be sealed, they wanted Adam to join them. Matt dearly loved Adam and him and Kevin knew that. He would do anything to make his soul mate happy. If Matt felt that Adam was their third mate,
then he would be.
*
Matt was dreaming. Images of his past flashing through his mind's eye. Flashes of brutal rape and torture, of drugs being forced into him and made to think he was some one else.
"NO! NO MORE! NOOOOOOO!" He screamed. Adam was scared.
"Matt!! MATT!!! Calm down!" He pleaded.
Kevin was right there, as was Jeff. Together, they held Matt down as he thrashed around. He finally calmed down and slowly woke up.
"Matt?" Jeff asked.
"Jeff?"
Jeff smiled. "Yes, Matty."
Matt looked around at Adam, Kevin and Jeff.
"How do I know you?" He asked confused.
Adam was stunned. "Matt, we're mates."
"Mates?" Matt asked. Adam nodded. Matt didn't understand. That hurt Adam deeply.
Chapter 6
Shannon had gone back to the garage. He looked over at the rebuilt bike and walked to study it closer. He nodded as he checked everything. "Everything's perfect." He got on it and tried to start
it, surprised when it started up the first time. "Matt knows how to fix 'em. I STILL can't believe he's alive!"
"Matt? What do you remember?" Jeff asked from the side of the bed where he sat. Matt was laid back against pillows. Adam sat in front on him, Kevin knelt by him.
Matt closed his eyes. "Don't wanna talk about it."
"It might help you to remember how you know us if you do." Jeff said.
"Too painful." Matt replied.
"Matty, it's painful for us knowing you are alive but you don't remember anything about us other than our names." Kevin said.
"Please, baby. For me?" Adam asked
Matt glanced at him, smiled. "Don't think I could ever refuse you." He closed his eyes. "First thing I remember is being in a large closet with my hands tied above my head. I remember being stuck with needles, whipped, burned, and............." He looked away.
"And, what Matty?" Adam asked
Matt shook his head.
"Matt, say it." Kevin demanded. He had an idea what he was going to say and it infuriated him.
Matt took a deep calming breath. "I was raped."
All three men's anger went through the roof.
"WHO?" Demanded Adam and Kevin.
"Two men...heard them call each other....Vinny and Pauly."
"They're dead meat!" Kevin growled.
"You'll have to beat me to them." Adam replied.
Chapter 7
Kevin angrily paced the garage. While Jeff tended to his brother, he and Adam went to the garage to form a plan. Even though they didn't know the details, they knew enough that their mate was brutally attacked and more than likely spent the last 4 years in that closet. They swore to get even.
Mark and Glen watched the two men as they paced the floor, kicking at anything they could reach. They knew something was up. It was time to find out what.
"Hey, you two." Mark bellowed. "Tell us what's crawled up your ass and won't let go."
Adam turned on him. The look of rage sent shivers down the spines of everyone there. But that look was NOTHING compared to the look on Kevin's.
"Matt was attacked. He was beaten, burned, stuck with needles and.........." Kevin shouted.
"Was he raped?" Glen asked.
The two men nodded.
"Who?" Mark demanded.
"Vince and Paul Heyman." Adam said through gritted teeth.
"They're dead." Mark growled.
"Where can we find them?" Glen asked.
"We'll go to hell and back if we have to in order to find them. But, they will be found and they WILL be dealt with." Kevin said.
Shannon ran to the bedroom and cried on Matt's shoulder. Matt wrapped his arm around him.
"I'm sorry, Matty!"
"Not your fault, Shany. It's mine."
"Like hell it is!" Jeff said. "Don't you DARE start that shit! You had no control ove that."
"Why, Matty? Why did they do it?"
"Don't rightly know, Shany. I don't remember if they ever said why." Matt said.
"What else do you remember, Matt?"
"I remember another man getting me out of there after about 2 years. He took me to his house and helped me overcome the drug addiction and tried to get my memory back. I know you guys. I know this town. I just don't know from where."
"We'll help you, Matty." Shannon said. "While the others go after Vince and Paul E., we'll help you get your memory back."
"Do you know the name of the man who got you out?" Jeff asked.
Chapter 8
Kevin took everyone except Jeff and Shannon with him to find Vince and Paul E. Even though he wanted to stay behind for Matt's sake, he knew he was in good hands and would be safe. He did NOT know though that Glen had decided to back track and watch the garage from the warehouse across the street. He did not want to risk the safety of 3 of his brothers to chance.
Jeff and Shannon kept Matt company the whole time. Matt was trying his best to remember how he knew them but nothing came to mind. Jeff went to his room and brought his photo album. Matt sat on the couch with Shannon on one side and Jeff on the other. They looked over the photo album. When Jeff got to one particular page......
"HIM! He was one of those that helped me get out of that closet!" Matt shouted as he grabbed the album.
"Shaney?" Jeff asked. "Shane got you out of there?"
"No. Some guy by the name of, MY GOD! PAUL! Paul got me out of the closet!! but this guy was there as they got me out of that house and took me to their house. Another guy waiting there. Can't remember his name but they kept calling him Kid."
"Must be Waltman." Shannon said.
Matt looked at him. "You know them?"
"Matt, Shane lived in our hometown. We went to school together. Me, you, Shannon, and Shane. We're best friends."
"Wish I could remember. What about the other two?"
"Paul and, what sounds like, Sean Waltman. Very good friends of ours. How they knew you were there....I don't know but they did and got you to safety. We can't thank them enough for that."
"Need to find them and try." Jeff replied. "That way, we can drive back home and maybe that will jog your memory."
"Maybe. All I know is, I belong here. This is family to me. And, I love each and every one of you. I'm sorry I can't remember much but I promise I will try."
Kevin was angry....there was no sign of Vince or Paul E. anywhere around the town or the towns close by. He seethed with rage. Adam stood by him.
"WE WON'T STOP KEVIN. WE WON'T UNTIL THEY"RE FOUND!" Adam vowed to
him.
"DAMN RIGHT WE WON'T!" Kevin replied.
Chapter 9
Paul and Sean were watching T.V. in their living room, cuddled on the couch. Shane stood by the door to the back yard. He was very concerned about something...he knew something was going to happen in his hometown and he wanted desperately to go there.
"Shaney, if you want to go, we'll go." Paul said as he studied his lover.
"I do, Pauly. Something is going to happen there and it concerns my best friends."
"Think Matty will be there?" Sean asked. He liked the younger man that lived with them for 2 years and wondered if he found his way home.
"I don't know. I hope so, for his sake. I hope he found his way home and back to his family. I just know whatever is going to happen is bad and I want, no, NEED to be there."
"Then, let's go." Paul said as he got up and left to go pack.
Shane smiled at Sean. He was going home. They were going to be there. Right in the middle of whatever was to happen. And, if Matt was there, he would get to see his best friend again. Hopefully happy and safe.
*
Kevin also came to the decision to take everyone back to Cameron. EVERYONE. Including Matt. So, they went back to the house and packed. Matt was nervous. He didn't remember Cameron or anyone there and he was afraid of what would happen there. Adam helped him pack as he was still weak.
"Matt, relax. You're going home. We are going to find out what happened to you exactly and why. You ARE going to get your memory back and then you'll have your life back. I'll be right there with you. Me, Jeff, Shannon and Kevin."
For reasons he could not explain, Matt felt compelled to walk to Adam and hug him closely. Adam returned that loving embrace, finding Matt shaking.
"Calm down Matt. Relax. I'm right here."
"Thank you, Adam."
"No need for that, baby. I love you."
"I love you. More than you know. Hell, more than I know!"
Adam wanted more than anything in the world to find out what happened to his baby in detail. He wanted to find the ones who did this to him. AND, he wanted to kill them for it! He took Matt to the bed and laid down with him, holding him close, trying to calm him down. Then, he hoped Matt would tell him exactly what happened. Details. He NEEDED details so when he found the bastards, he would know exactly why he was killing them.
Matt felt safer in those arms than he had felt in 4 years. He vaguely remembered being in these same arms before and as the memory became stronger, he felt himself grow hard with arousal. He wondered if Adam felt the same way. He fought for control of his actions but the memories were proving too strong. He knew he would lose.
Chapter 10
Matt felt so safe and so loved wrapped in Adam's arms that he felt like he belonged there. He knew that this man would help him through anything. He'd go to hell and back for him if needed. Matt raised up, kissed Adam tenderly on the lips. Not meeting any resistance and after making sure the door was closed, he deepened the kiss. Adam pushed Matt down and straddled him, not breaking the kiss.
'God, this is a dream come true. My Matty back with me. I need to make love to him desperately. I only hope he doesn't resist.' Adam thought to himself.
"I won't resist, Adam." Matt answered his thoughts. "I want you."
Adam pushed his shock back. He would ask questions later. The only thing he wanted to do now was to make this the best sex either ever had. He slowly unbuttoned Matt's shirt, kissing his chest every time a button came undone. Matt squirmed under the ministrations, moaning and growling deep in his throat. Finally, the shirt was off and Adam opened it up, revealing a well muscled, slightly hairy chest. Adam smiled. "God, Matt. I forgot how beautiful you really are."
"Stop talking and take me now!" Matt said. The only thing he wanted was for Adam to be inside him. That was the only thing on his mind.....not remembering his past, any events that happened could be dealt with later. NOT NOW. He wanted Adam to take him and make him his. Adam obliged him, greedily, happily. Matt was back, and he was going to take his time. The others can wait. Nothing was more important than this.....passionate love-making that he was just starting.
Okay, enough talk. Down to business.
Adam slowly made his way down Matt's chest. Paying very close attention to the nipples and making them extremely sensitive. He made his way down to the navel while at the same time he used his hands to remove Matt's jeans and his own. Matt was fully erect. His cock standing up proudly, waiting for Adam to pay it some of his heavenly attention. Adam took him all the way, deep throating him the first time. Matt gasped, bucked his hips up and put a pillow over his mouth to muffle his scream of ecstasy. Adam smiled as he used his fingers to probe Matt's tiny entrance. He put three fingers in, spreading Matt, preparing him for Adam's large, thick cock. Adam knelt between Matt's legs and entered him sssslllllloooowwwwwllllly. Matt bucked up
to try and speed it up but when Adam lowered his head and took his cock in his mouth, he forgot all about that idea and he decided to thoroughly enjoy this. He waited years for someone to make him feel wanted, needed, and LOVED instead of used. He was NOT going to rush it. He was being filled and sucked at the same time and he found the sensation to be absolute paradise.
Adam also found it to be exceptionally erotic. To feel and hear his love writhe and groan his pleasure was turning him on to no end. He didn't want to cum too soon but Matt had other plans as he bucked his hips faster and harder making Adam cum in his hot sweet entrance. Adam flooded Matt with his hot seed and the action was returned to him as he hit his prostrate and Matt came in Adam's mouth.
They collapsed on the bed, thoroughly exhausted but each had a huge smile on their face.
"IF YOU TWO ARE FINISHED, WE HAVE TO GO NOW!!!" Kevin shouted from
downstairs.
They laughed and slowly got up to get dressed. It was indeed a very SLOW process. But, they knew they had to leave. Matt's past was important and it was time to retrieve it.
Chapter 11
Matt and Adam slowly made their way downstairs. Matt stayed close to Adam. The tightness of his leather pants pressing into Adam's backside.
"Matt!! We don't have time!" Adam squealed as they walked to the door.
"Well, we'll make time." Matt teased
Adam looked at him, puzzled.
"Watch and learn." Matt said as he walked into the garage, and he walked over to Kevin.
"Kevy..." Matt whined. "I'm kinda tired."
"Don't know why you would be." Kevin replied, smiling.
"Me neither. Would you mind if I rode with you?"
Kevin was shocked. He thought Matt would want to ride with Adam. "Uhhh. Sure."
Matt smiled as he went over to Kevin's bike and put his helmet on. Kevin's bike was custom made. He was used to having to give rides back from the bar to some of his friends so he put an extra long seat in back. Enough for 2 to ride....with seat belts.
Adam also was shocked to see Matt getting ready to ride with Kevin. Matt turned to him and winked. That told Adam he had a plan. Adam smiled. When Matt was in a playful mood, no telling what he would do. This would be a very interesting ride to Cameron. VERY INTERESTING.
As they rode down the highway, Matt put his arms around Kevin, holding tightly. He slowly made his way down to his pants and rubbed his cock until Kevin squirmed.
"Matt...stop...I have to steer." Kevin said, trying his best not to squirm and lose control of his bike.
"You steer the bike, I'll steer down here." Matt said as he continued to rub his pants.
Adam watched closely. Jeff was driving the bike....he had an idea as to what his brother would do so he told Adam to ride with him.
"Uh-huh. Just as I thought." Jeff said as he got closer to Kevin's bike. "Get ready to jump over when Matt makes his move."
"Move? What move?" Adam asked just as Matt made his way around Kevin, facing him, smiling. "Oh shit....he's not gonna...."
Jeff nodded, smiling.
Matt was facing Kevin as he continued stroking him. He unzipped the pants. He had to rip them in order to get access to his cock but when he did, he bent over and took him deep.
Kevin was shocked but soon he was moaning and growling as Matt sucked him. He was even more surprised when Adam jumped on the back of his bike and unzipped his pants.
Without any lube, Adam raised Kevin up and slammed him down on his cock, impaling him in one swift move Adam put his knees under Kevin's and worked him on his cock.
Kevin was soooo shocked as to what his loves were doing to him but he was NOT about to stop it!!! He howled as he was being fucked and sucked until he was dry....to the bone.
Chapter 12
"Damn, boys!" Kevin exclaimed as he recovered from the amazing sex he just had and trying to keep his bike on the road. "Where did you learn to do this, Matt?"
Matt smiled. He didn't want to reveal how he learned that. It was part of that horrible past and he wasn't about to let the others know all the details of it. So, he smiled and shrugged. Then, he joined Adam in the back seat. He glanced back toward the others.
"No one's left, Kev."
Kevin turned, smiled. "Damn wussies!"
While the erotic scene was taking place in front of them, the others had found it hard to stay on the road, so they took the next available road. Some even made their own road. Their desires building to a hot and heavy climax watching their leader being fucked and sucked. So, they paired in 3's to try it themselves.
Matt embraced Adam as they rode along the highway. Adam deeply kissed him, trying to make up for the lack of time back at the garage where Matt made his desire known.
Matt's mind flashed back to the closet and the acts he had to perform on his captors. He could not concentrate on Adam and he knew it wasn't fair to either one. So, he broke off the kiss relunctantly.
"Adam, we've got time for that later. I'm tired and I want to rest a little until we get to Cameron."
Adam knew he was lying. Matt may be tired, but, when it came to sex, he would find all the energy in the world to make it unforgettable. But, to save an argument and to save his ass from being chewed by the Big Wolf, he nodded, smiled and embraced Matt.
Kevin heard what was said. He too knew it was a lie but, like Adam, he wanted to wait until later to confront Matt on it. He kept looking in his mirror for the others to appear.
Which they did. All flushed and exhausted But, they rode on. The mission they had to carry out weighed heavily on their minds.
Jeff watched Matt as he fought his inner battles with his memories. Jeff vowed to be their for his big brother, no matter what the costs to himself. Blood was thicker than anything they had put Matt through, and they would LOSE this war!
Chapter 13
As they were riding down the highway, which for some reason was the one less traveled, the band saw a few bikes parked on the side of the road. Kevin called for a stop and pulled over and watched as one of them took their helmet off. It was Paul
Kevin smiled and walked to Paul, embracing him. Matt slowly got off the bike. As Adam watched him, he slowly walked toward Paul. His mind taking him back to that closet and the abuse he had endured. He suddenly speared Paul to the ground and began to pound his face.
"You bastards! You won't get another chance to do that to my brother! Do it to me! But, you leave him alone!" Matt shouted as he punched Paul, emphasizing each word.
Kevin grabbed for him but was thrown off. Adam raced to him.
"What the hell are you talking about Matt?" He asked, shocked beyond all reason.
"He's the one who put me in that closet! He's the one who.....who.....who....."
"Who what, Matt?" Kevin asked. He wanted Matt to admit what was done to him. Even though he hated to see Paul being beaten like this, he knew it was for the best.
"He.......raped me!" Matt said as he got up and ran off, tears flowing freely.
Kevin and Adam helped Paul up. Shannon watched Matt run off. His jaw dropped. He knew nothing of what happened in that closet.
"My God." He whispered. "Matty was raped?"
"Yes, lil one." Kevin replied.
"Those bastards really did a number on him, kid." Paul said. "I thought he was over that." He added as he felt his jaw, moving it to make sure it wasn't broken. "When we find those mother's, they'll be lucky if all I do is make them permanent tenors!" He growled.
Shannon raced after Matt. "Kid!" Paul called. Shannon turned back. "Just watch him. Don't approach him yet. He's still in that closet in his mind. He's very dangerous right now."
Shannon nodded and raced toward Matt keeping his distance. He knew what Matt was going through.....he'd been there. Different circumstances, but same violent acts. He was the ONLY one who could help Matt. He vowed to BE the one to do so.
Chapter 14
Shannon watched as Matt pulled roughly on his pony tail and ran his fingers through his hair. He could see that his friend was crying and knew he was re-living those 2 years spent in that closet.
"Matty, you'll be all right." He whispered to himself. Not knowing Paul had walked up. "We'll make sure you will be. They won't get away with it."
"Damn straight they won't!" Paul said startling Shannon. "Matt needs to end this nightmare once and for all. And the only way to do it is to nail those fucking bastards to the wall!"
*
Matt was hysterically crying as he dropped to his knees. "WHY? WHY ME? What did I do to deserve that?" He cried. "I beat my friend to a bloody mess because I thought HE was the one who did it to me. Paul would NEVER do that to me. I hope he can forgive me."
"Nothing to forgive, Matt." Paul said as he sat beside him. "Your soul is lost. I know that if it was here with us, you would never do that to me or any of us. You're hurting right now. And, just like
before, me and the boys will help you. No matter what."
"I want those bastards, Paul. I want to make them suffer the way they I have."
"And, we'll get them. I swear it to you. We will find them and make them wish we'd kill them!"
Crying, Matt hugged Paul. "I'm sorry, Paul. I'm sorry I ever hit you. I'm sorry I put you all through this. It's not fair to you."
"Shhh, Matt. You're right, it's not fair. It's not fair to any of us. But, especially to you. You're too much of a loving person to have had that done to you. They will know the meaning of the word PAIN!"
*
Kevin and Adam watched from the road. When the two men embraced and as Shannon made his way to them, they smiled. They knew the time would come that Matt would find his way back to them whole and they would welcome him with open arms. After all, that's what brothers do right?
"When should we tell him, Kevin?"
"After we nail our dear old dad." Kevin answered. "He'll answer to us for what he did to Matt."
Chapter 15
The band heard that conversation and their mouths dropped.
"Are you saying that the two of you are brothers?" Shane asked.
Kevin and Adam turned and nodded.
"Oh, fuck!" Jeff exclaimed. "Matt is going to be pissed!"
"Well, we'll just have to calm him down." Mark said.
"Ha, good luck!" Shane replied.
He and Jeff knew how Matt would react to finding out his lovers were brothers and knew it all along. He would feel betrayed. He would feel like a fool being played like that. His emotions were already frazzled, now this? It could possibly destroy him.
"We'll handle it." Kevin said. "Matt needs us all right now. After we get done with dear ole dad and his boy toy, we'll tell him.......alone."
Adam dreaded that. He dearly loved Matt. He never felt this way about anyone before. Now, he could lose that love because of a deep dark dreadful secret. He turned back toward Matt and slowly walked over to him.
Matt sensed Adam coming and stood up. He opened his arms and embraced the one true constant in his life and thanked whatever deity it was that kept it that way.
Paul knew the secret. And, he knew that it could destroy whatever is left of Matt's spirit. He vowed to make Vince pay for this pain that he inflicted on a soul so caring, so loving, so honest that sometimes it hurt to see it.
"God, Adam. I love you." Matt sobbed.
"And, I love you, my dark angel."
Kevin walked over. Matt reached for him.
"So do I, puppy. I love you too."
"When this is all over, we can finally be happy again." Adam said, vowing not to lose Matt to anyone, but especially to Vince.
Jeff watched the whole exchange. He prayed that his brother would not fall to pieces after the secret was revealed. He could not figure out why they kept the secret from him but he knew his brother would need him desperately and he was going to be there.
'Yes, Matty. Tigger will be here for you.'
Chapter 16
After getting Matt calm down enough to ride, he and Adam ride with Kevin. Paul is beside them with Jeff, Shannon and Sean right behind. Sean had been quiet during that whole exchange back there. He was trying to think of some way to avoid the secret being told for he knew what the outcome would be. He saw how fragile Matt was when he was taken out of that house and knew he would be worse if he knew that Kevin and Adam were brothers.
Jeff, on the other hand, was highly pissed. He felt his brother was being played the fool and swore to get back at them. After, of course, he helped his brother put back the pieces of his life and his soul.
Adam clung to Matt like he would disappear. Matt needed strength to get through this whole ordeal and he was right there for him. He dreaded telling Matt who his father was, knowing he would lose him forever.
"You won't lose me, Adam. Nothing you could ever do or say would make me walk away from you." Matt said as if he could read his mind.
"I'm happy to hear that, Matt. I'd die if I lost you."
"That makes two of us, Matt." Kevin said.
Matt knew he was right where he belonged. With his two lovers, soon to be life partners he hoped. He also knew they were keeping something from him. He knew Adam felt as if he would lose him if he knew, but did not know what that was. He didn't worry about it though. He would be strong. He would survive. He would get his soul back together. Yes. He would do that.
Wouldn't he?
*
Kevin spotted a van parked on the side of the road. He saw the plates were from Connecticut. He slid to a stop and jumped off. If Matt and Adam didn't put their feet down........they would have been on the ground for Kevin didn't put the kickstand down, just jumped off.
Kevin walked over to the van...It was empty. No sign of anyone. "I know it's them." He growled. "Where are you, bastards? Show yourselves!" He shouted.
Paul checked the engine. It had been blown. No way to drive it. "It's still hot, Kev."
"Then, they're close. Let's get to town and find them!" Kevin ordered
as he went and jumped on his bike.
"Is it theirs?" Adam asked.
"Think so. We're gonna find out for sure." Kevin answered.
Matt's face paled. He knew he would have to face those two again. He just hoped he would be strong enough to do it. So much for that confidence he felt earlier. He knew then he would not be. So, he tried to think of a way to avoid it. Whatever he had to do.
Chapter 17
Matt was so give out from his fight with his emotions and the memories that have plagued him, that he falls asleep on Adam's shoulder.
"Kevin, go to Matt's house." Adam tells him touching his shoulder.
Kevin glances back, frowns at the pain on Matt's face and speeds up.
Paul knew something was wrong when Kevin sped up. He followed closely. Jeff not far behind.
Once they got to Matt's house, Kevin skid to a stop, jumped off and took Matt from Adam. He carried him inside, kicking the door in, finding Jeff's attempt to unlock it too slow. He went straight to Matt's room where he found the blankets pulled back by Jason. He carefully laid Matt down and checked to make sure he was all right. He knew Matt was reliving the time he was abused. He turned to Paul.
"I thought you said he was over this."
"We thought he was too. When he left our house, he was fine. He didn't remember his past but he knew about where he belonged. He remembered names but not places."
"Paul's right, Kev--" Sean said. "Matt knew you by name....not by his past."
"When I get my hands on Vince, I'm gonna kill him!" Adam stated growling. "He and Paul E. put Matt through hell, and there's no way they're gonna get another chance to do that again!"
"Which is what he wants to do." Paul said. "He wants Matt back and to finish what he started."
"How do you know this?"
"Shane." Paul said. "Shane is our inside man. I know how to find him. But, he doesn't know how to find us. To find Matt."
"I wish he did." Matt said. "I wish he did know how to find me."
"Matt, no way are we gonna let that happen!" Kevin said, brushing hair out of Matt's face.
"No way in hell!" Paul added. "I remember vividly how you were when we got you out of there. You were almost dead. There's no way we're gonna take the chance of him finishing that!"
Jeff's jaw dropped. He knew Matt was bad...but....almost dead?
"What's the difference? I can't remember my past, except my childhood. Be the same if I was dead."
"BULLSHIT!" Adam shouted. "You're alive! As far as your past, we'll get it back. We got you back, Matt. You'll get your past back. NO WAY ARE YOU GONNA DIE!"
Chapter 18
Shannon couldn't take it anymore. The knowledge that one of his best friends was raped by a man supposedly respected in the business world got to him. He went outside on the back porch to sit in the swing and think of ways he could help.
Sean saw him leave. He knew what was bothering the lil one so he followed. He sat by him and swung slowly.
"Lil one, Matt will be fine."
"Will he, Sean? He was raped, beaten, tortured, drugged. Who knows what else! Hell, he thought Pauly was the one who did it to him! Will he be fine? I would like to think so, but, I'm not too sure."
"You've been in his shoes, Shannon. If he knew that, it would help him."
"Hell, if he knew it, he'd go hunt the bastard down and kill him with his bare hands!"
Sean was shocked. He never thought Matt would do something like that.
"He would, Sean. He does have a temper. He thinks of me as a little brother. If he knew someone hurt me, he'd do anything he had to to hurt them back, ten-fold."
"You need to be strong and help him, Shanny. Matt has always been strong. Always thought of as the 'strong one' but actually, he needs someone strong for him. Kevin and Adam are that, but, he needs his little brother to be too. Think you can?"
Shannon thought and sighed heavily. "No choice. Matty needs all of us. He needs me, so, I will be strong for him. I just hope I can keep this from him until he's strong enough himself to handle it."
Jeff heard them and he came out. "He will be, Shanny. Matty will be strong for you as you will be for him. Together, you can get through this. Who was it, Shannon?"
Shannon bit his lip. He didn't want to tell.
"Shannon, tell us. Who was it?"
"Vince." Shannon hung his head as Sean and Jeff exchanged looks of shock and sadness. They knew Matt was raped by Vince, but, he also raped Shannon?
"He's a dead son of a bitch!" Sean said.
"You'll have to beat me to him." Jeff vowed.
Chapter 19
While Shannon was talking to Sean and Jeff, Glen and Mark overheard from their vantage point in the tree next to the house. They took up posts there because they were hidden from view, but, their view of the driveway, road and the area around the house was not blocked. Perfect spot for guard duty, which they took upon themselves to do. Kevin did not ask this of them but they did it anyway. Their way of showing their concern for Matt's safety.
Mark growled when Shannon told what had been done to him and by whom. Glen was not a happy camper either.
"HE'S ONE DEAD FUCKING SON OF A BITCH!" Mark vowed.
"There's gonna be a line forming as to who gets to him and that cocksucker boytoy of his first, brother." Glen replied. "That fucker won't know what hit him. But, we will. And THAT'S what counts. You ask me, those two little pups should be first in line."
"They won't be strong enough, Glen. What happened to them is weakening their innermost defenses. One of us will have to be the first one to get to them. And, I SWEAR, anyone tries to stop me will have one HELL of a fight on their hands!"
"Mark, Kevin will be the first one. Then, Adam. After that, it's fair game." Glen said. He felt the same as Mark but he realized that the ones who should have first dibs on the final battle are the two closest to Matt. Other than Jeff, who will no doubt get his shots in.
"Then, there's Sean. You ever see him pissed off? Brother, I tell you. You and I together don't match the strength that boy has when he's pissed. And, he's VERY pissed right now." Glen added.
They were right. Sean's face was blood red from the fury rising in him. Jeff also. Bu, he knew his brother and best friend needed someone with a cool head. He swallowed that fury, until the time he could release it on Vince and Paulie.
Matt sensed something was wrong. And, it had to do with Shannon. So, he crept downstairs, so not to disturb the others in his dining room. He couldn't figure out why he was alone in his room, but, right now, he was glad he was. For he knew that if he even thought of getting out of bed, he would be in for a fight. He didn't have the strength then for that. He was at the door when he heard Shannon's revelation. He bolted through the door.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me, Shannon Moore? Why did you keep that from me? Thought we were best friends! I swear to you right here and now, I will KILL Vince McMahon for laying his hands on you!"
Jeff, Shannon and Sean all jumped when Matt stormed out. Jeff went to his brother to try to calm him. Especially after that promise he made to Shannon. He was never more glad to see Adam in all his days. And, Kevin right behind him was even better. He knew if he couldn't calm Matt down, they would. Or, they would knock him out.
Chapter 20
It took Kevin and Adam a LONG time to calm Matt down enough to drag him back inside after he jumped on Shannon for hiding his secret from him. He wasn't exactly angry at the lil one, he was more hurt than anything else. Even though he didn't remember much about his past, hearing the smaller man's voice brought back some memories and they were of the times they spent swimming, hunting, playing sports. Matt knew he and Shannon were close and the fact that something had happened to his friend and he wasn't aware of it hurt him deeply. He was sitting on the couch with Adam beside him and Kevin standing behind him. Shannon was standing by Sean and Jeff across the room, staring at Matt. He knew his friend was angry at him for keeping
secrets. At least, he thought he was. Matt stared at him, memories of what had happened to him flooding his mind, only it wasn't him that it was happening to....it was Shannon.
"Shanny, come here kid." Matt said. He motioned for Adam to slide down and for Shannon to sit beside him.
Hesitantly, Shannon did sit beside him. Matt wrapped an arm around him.
"Shanny, I'm not mad at you. I'm hurt. I just remember all the times we talked about everything...keeping nothing hidden. I care about you. You're like a kid brother, Shanny, and the thought that you have been hurt and I didn't know hurts more than you know. But, I swear to
you, I will get Vince for what he did to you."
"Matty, I'm sorry. I was ashamed. He made me feel like it was my fault. That I asked for it, wanted it."
"No way, lil bro. No way did you ask for that. NOR, did you want it."
"No, I didn't. I'm not that desperate! But, Matty, swear to me. SWEAR that you won't kill him! I know that temper of yours. I know you want to kill him cause he messed with family. Swear to me you won't."
Matt breathed deeply, held it, then, slowly, blew out, blowing some of his anger at Vince out. "All right, Shanny. If that's what you want, that's what I'll do. Even though I do want to kill the bastard for laying his hands on you, if you don't want me to do it, I won't. I swear."
"Thanks, Matty." Shannon snuggled closer to his friend, feeling safe and secure in his big brother's arms.
Jeff knew by the look on Matt's face that it would be a fight for him to keep his promise to Shannon. 'Well, HE promised. I didn't' He thought. 'Vince is a dead man!'
Adam held Shannon's hand and watched as Matt comforted him. He smiled, knowing how Matt felt about the smaller man, he wasn't jealous in the least bit. He glanced at Kevin who looked on concerned.
"What?" He whispered.
Kevin nodded towards the back door and left. Adam followed. They stood in the yard.
"What, Kev?"
"Matt is battling his anger. He's furious on the inside. But, he's trying not to show it. He wants desperately to kill Vince for touching Shannon. Not for what happened to him, but what happened to his little brother."
"He'll control it. He promised Shannon not to kill the maggot, he won't do it. Matt is honest to a fault. He'll be fine."
"I'm not so sure. Matt is confused as far as his past goes, but, some things he can remember. He remembered his past with Shannon. And with Jeff. He also remembers that damn closet. If he confuses it all, it could be devastating for us all."
Chapter 21
Indeed, Matt was battling to control his anger. He sat out on the back porch steps, seething with rage. The memories of that closet hounding his every waking moment, then he imagined that Shannon was there with him and he was being assaulted.
"Damn you, McMahon. Damn you to hell! You touched my brother. I'll 'touch' you."
Jeff heard him and walked out. "Hey, Matty. Whatcha doin?"
Matt tried to straighten his face. "Thinking, Jeff. Just thinking."
"Bout what?" He asked as he sat by his brother.
"Everything. Trying to remember my past with this group of guys. Why is it I can remember you and me growing up but I can't remember being with them? With Adam and Kevin?"
"Think it has something to do with what happened to you, Matt. It was a horrific ordeal and the memories you had while going through that is probably what kept you from going insane. Don't worry, Matty. It'll come back. And probably after WE nail Vince and Pauly."
"I hope so, brother. I hope so. It's tearing everyone apart seeing me here and knowing I can't remember them. The only thing I can remember about them, other than their names are what Kevin, Adam and I have had. Our times alone. Y'know?"
"Yeah, I know. Matt, it doesn't matter that you remember much about that right now. What we're worried about is whether you can keep your temper in check and not go out on your own to find those bastards!"
"It's hard not to. Not for what they did to me, but what they put Shanny through. I promised him I wouldn't kill 'em, but I NEVER promised I wouldn't seriously hurt 'em!"
Jeff knew all to well how seriously Matt could hurt someone. He remembered seeing Matt being jumped at school by the school bullies and how Matt had single-handedly took all of them out, breaking bones and blackening eyes. He did NOT feel sorry for anyone who crossed paths with Matt when they hurt someone he cared about. They deserve everything they get and he would join in this time.
"I'm with you, bro. I'll be right there with you. Those bastards will pay for every second of pain they have caused and continue to cause until they are taken out!"
Matt smiled at Jeff. He knew his brother would stand by him through anything. No matter how he treated him, his brother would always be there for him. He reached out and hugged him tightly.
"We're Hardy's, Matt. Together, we can do ANYTHING!" Jeff stated proudly.
"Nobody messes with us. Unless they want to hurt." Matt replied. "And, they will hurt. Badly."
Chapter 22
Kevin pulled Mark aside and told him what he wanted him to do.
"Mark, I want you to take the rest of the boys and find these bastards. I'll stay here with Shanny and Matt. Neither of them need to be out doing this. Especially with Matt's temper out of control."
"No, problem, Kev. We'll find them. We won't be back until we do." Mark answered. His face reflected the anger and resolve he felt. He wanted to end this nightmare once and for all for his friends.
"Keep an eye on Jeff. No telling what that kid will do. He wants to hurt them as badly as his brother does."
Mark nodded and left. Kevin went to check on Shannon who decided to take a nap. The memories and the talk he had with Matt wearing him out so he decided to rest. Then, Kevin went to find Matt.
Matt was down by the lake that ran behind his house. He was sitting on a rock looking over the water, not really seeing it. The pain from his own experience combined with the fact that Shanny went through the same thing made him so angry, he was crying.
That's how Kevin found him, crying by the lake. He went and sat beside him. Seeing his love crying breaking his heart.
"Baby, we'll find them. You'll be fine. As will Shanny."
"Kevin." Matt sobbed on his chest. "The very idea of lil one going through that makes me so angry, I want to kill them! But, I made Shanny a promise that I wouldn't. It'll be hard to keep that promise. But, I will try my damnedest."
Kevin hugged him closely. "I know, baby. I know. BUT, remember, you are not alone in this. You'll NEVER be alone again. We made that mistake once and it has cost us. We won't make that mistake again."
His cell phone rings "Yeah."
"Kev---we found them." Adam told him angrily. "Hiding out in some woods not far from you."
"We'll be right there. Keep an eye on them. Do NOT let them leave!" He hung up and looked at Matt "They found them."
"What are we waiting for? Let's go." Matt got up to leave but Kevin stopped him.
"You two stay with me. I don't want anything to happen to either of you." He said determined, but lovingly.
"Like I said, Kevy. It'll be hard for me to keep that promise to Shanny. But I will try my damndest to keep it."
Chapter 23
Matt and Kevin went inside to get ready to leave. Shannon met them at the bottom of the stairs. He stared at Matt, then walked to him and hugged him.
"It's ok, Matt. I'm okay..You'll be okay. Just hang in there a little longer."
Matt nodded and started to cry again. He was determined to keep his promise. And, together. they would get through this. In one piece, with peace in their soul.
Matt rode his own bike, the one he kept in the garage. Shannon rode with Kevin, glancing often over at Matt. Unable to read his thoughts due to the dark shades. He was concerned for his good friend. He knew how hard it was for him to make that promise, he also knew Matt would do his best to keep it. He did not break promises.
They arrived where the rest of the boys were. And they cautiously walked over to them.
"Where are they?" Kevin asked.
"In that cabin over there." Mark growled.
Jeff looked at Matt who kept the shades on. He knew his brother was fighting his anger. 'Keep cool, Matty.' He encouraged silently.
Matt studied the cabin and the surrounding area. He knew this place well. This was the place he was when he was tortured.
Paul and Sean watched him. They knew he knew where he was and was fighting the memories of the torture. They hoped when he got to the memory of getting out of there, he would get himself under control.
But, would he? That was the question. Would he be able to get to that point? Or, would the memories of the torture be too much for him to handle now?
He studied the area more. He knew there was a back way to the cabin. One that would keep him hidden until it was too late. Glancing around, he saw no one was watching. Quiet as a cat, he left the band to find his way to the cabin and settle this....one way or another.
"This should be fun." Jeff said, turning to find his brother gone. "Matt? MATT!"
They looked behind them to find him gone.
"That stupid son of a bitch!" Kevin growled. "I told him not to go anywhere alone!"
"Might as well handed him the keys to your bike, Kev." Adam said. "Matt never took orders well and you know it."
"I hope he doesn't get himself killed." Kevin said. He knew Adam was right. Matt did whatever he wanted to. No matter what anyone said.
"Oh, Matty. Why did you do this?" Shannon asked. Jeff hugged him, finding him shaking.
"Matt will keep his promise, Shanny. He'll be fine. He'll come back to us."
"No, he won't." Adam said. "We go to him."
Chapter 24
Matt had made his way to the back of the cabin. He peered in the window just as Paul E. came out of that haunting closet. He had a huge smile on his face which told Matt that there was someone in that closet. Another tormented soul! That did it. He could not control his anger anymore 'Sorry Shan.'
He was about to bust through the door just as Kevin grabbed his arm. He turned around growling. Only to be met by a just as growling Kevin and Adam.
"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Kevin asked.
"Inside, where else? They've got another man in there. It might be a kid, knowing them. I'm going to get that kid out."
"You're not going in alone. They might be armed." Adam said.
"It's not their style. They'd rather torture people by beating them, assaulting them with their dirty selves. Guns? No."
"Regardless, you are NOT going in there by yourself. You won't come out alive." Kevin said.
Shannon and Jeff walked to him
"Matty, let us help. We don't want you to get killed." Jeff told him. "We want to hurt them as badly as you. Let us help, brother."
Matt thought on it, looked in the window, back to Jeff. He sighed heavily. "Alright, Jeff. You can help."
"We'll do more than that." Jeff replied. "We'll get your soul back. Yours----and Shanny's" He was furious at the thought of his brother being hurt at the hands of those dirty bastards. His best friend
having gone through the same thing made the pain unbearable. He turned to Kevin, and nodded.
Together, they broke through the door just as Vince was about to go inside the closet.
Taken off guard, they were not prepared for Kevin and Jeff attacking them. Jeff took Paul E., beating the scum to the ground. "You dirty son of a bitch! You hurt my brother! You hurt my best friend! You die!" He said emphasizing his blows with his fists and feet with every word.
"Mackey, you made a BAD mistake messin' with my family. Give me one good reason why YOU should live!" Kevin growled.
Chapter 25
Matt glared at Vince so hard that if his eyes could shoot daggers, Vince would be dead in his shoes. He was clenching his fists so tight, he was drawing blood on his palms. Adam walked up and laid a hand on his shoulder.
"Easy, baby. He's not worth you ruining your life over."
"Think about it, Adam. Who's here? It'll be our word against theirs and with the evidence in that closet, no one will argue. It'll be in self defense." He turned to Mark. "Get that poor soul out of there Mark."
Mark nodded and quickly brought the man out. Matt was shocked. He knew the man well. "My God."
"Who is it, baby?" Adam asked.
"Christian York." Matt answered. He studied Christian. He saw the black eye and the busted lip. He saw the torn clothes, what clothes he had on. He saw the lash marks and the blood coming from behind him. He knew he was sexually assaulted.
Shannon rushed to Christian's side and hugged him. "Christian!!!! My God!!!"
"Shanny?" Christian asked.
"Yes, buddy. I'm here. So is Matt and Jeff."
"How'd you know?"
"Because they did the same thing to me and to Matty."
"God, no. How are you?"
"Fine, now. Don't you worry about us. We'll help you get through this. The three of us can't be beaten."
Christian heard the beating. "Who's doing that?"
"Jeff. He's beating the shit outta Paul E."
"Matt?"
"He's standing over there watching you. He's pissed, buddy."
"I hope he doesn't snap."
"He promised me he wouldn't."
"Then, he'll try his damnedest to keep that promise." He slid down the wall behind him. Shannon held him all the way down.
Matt was furious. He wanted so badly to kill Vince. But, he remembered his promise. So, he let his brother and his love handle it.
*
Jeff and Kevin beat Vince and Paul E. to a bloody mess. Until the police arrived and took over. Jeff, Kevin, and Adam stood behind Matt as he knelt down by Christian.
"Chris, you okay?"
"I am now, buddy. Thanks."
"Ready to get outta here?"
"You're DAMN right I am!"
Chapter 26
Now that Vince and Paul E. were in police custody and the police ruled it self-defense so no charges were to be brought against the boys. (Helps to know the local law enforcement....when you grow up with some of them.....they seem to take your word for it) Kevin had Jeff hold Christian and they went back to Matt's house.
Jeff and Shannon helped get Christian settled in the guest room since he did not want to go to the hospital. They tended to his wounds...while Matt sat by him. His anger clearly showing.
"Matty?" Shannon called for him as he walked in. Matt turned to him. "Thank you."
Matt nodded. He knew what that was for. "I'll be honest, Shanny. It wasn't easy for me to keep my promise."
"I'm glad you did, Matty." Christian told him. "I'd hate to think I was the reason you snapped."
"You wouldn't have been the reason, Chris. Those two did the same to me....and to Shanny."
"I know. But, seeing me like that would've made you snap, even if you did make a promise. You're a good friend, Matt."
"No, I'm not. If I was, I would've gotten rid of them a long time ago and this never would've happened."
"It's over and done, Matt. Let's not play the blame game." Jeff stated as he washed the blood off Christian's face. "What's done is done. The important thing now is to help all 3 of you heal and get on with life."
"Jeff's right, baby." Adam said as he and Kevin entered. The others stood at the door. "I know you still have a lot of anger built up inside of you. The best way to let it loose is to go outside, find your punching bag and let it all out."
"Matt, the three of you need each other to help get through this....you help them with the emotional and physical part. They help you get your memory back."
Christian looked at Matt shocked. "You lost your memory?"
"Yes. I remember my childhood, I remember the torture they put me through, I remember Paul and Sean getting me outta there. But, I don't remember being with these guys. At least, not all of them." He smiled shyly at Kevin and Paul.
"Well, that's the first order of business. We can't be whole again until you get all of your memory back. I'm here to help. You've helped me by letting me come here."
"Wasn't any letting to it. This is your home as much as it is mine." Matt stated.
"Then, getting my good friend back is my way of thanking you for what you've done. And, I promise, I'll do whatever it takes to get you back, Matty. Even if it means knocking you out to do it." Christian said.
Chapter 27
After making sure Christian would be alright for the night, with Shannon and Jeff staying with him, Matt finally gave in and went to bed. He was sandwiched between Adam and Kevin, with his arms around Adam and Kevin's arms around him. They both breathed a huge sigh of relief when they realized he was asleep. They knew the fact that they found Christian in that cabin was hard on him, besides having to try and keep his promise. He was physically and mentally exhausted.
Matt was dreaming he was back in that closet and that he was sandwiched between Vince and Paul E. He struggled to get free only to have the arms hold him tighter.
"You're not going anywhere little slut. You belong to us now. No one wants you around anymore. You're used merchandise, not worthy of love from anyone" He was told over and over that he was no good, no one would want him anymore, that he was better off where he was.
Matt thrashed around in his sleep, waking both his mates who tried to hold him, to calm him down.
"NO! Let me go! I'm not a slut! Not for you!" Matt screamed.
"Matt! MATT! Calm down! We won't hurt you!" Kevin screamed.
Matt's eyes flew open, only he didn't see either Adam or Kevin, he saw his tormentors.
"You lie!" He responded. "You just told me I was a slut! That no one would want me! I was used merchandise! Unable to be loved by anyone!"
"No, Matt. We're not lying. We did NOT tell you that!" Adam replied. Both the men were shocked to hear what he said. And, they were hurt. The very idea of Matt believing he was unable to be loved by anyone, that he was used merchandise and never to be wanted hit them in their soul. This was their soul mate, their true love.
"Matt, wake up. You're dreaming." Kevin told him, slapping him.
Matt didn't wake up. But, he did calm down and went back to sleep.
"If we'd have known this, Kevin. I would've killed them when I had the chance!" Adam stated through gritted teeth.
"Maybe it's not too late for that." Kevin replied. 'No, not too late at all.' He had a plan. And, only he and Adam would see it through. He did not want the others to know what was said.
But, it was too late. Someone else did know. They heard Matt's screams and came running. They swore vengeance on those two bastards that did this.
Chapter 28
Some one had decided to bail out Vince and Paul E. They had done so by phone and left a message for the two men to meet this person at an old motel at the end of town, that if they ran, they would be hunted prey and caught and dealt as such, which, they were told, they did NOT want with to do with this person.
Apprehensive but fearing for their own lives, Vince and Paul E. agreed to meet this person at the motel. They saw a car outside a room and carefully entered. They were greeted by a masked person, about 6ft 4 in, or so they thought, about 240 and wore nothing but black. They could not recognize this person but they were scared none the less.
"Sit." The person demanded and they quickly obeyed. "You two are more trouble that you're worth." The person said. His voice disguised. "You kidnap helpless men, take them out into the woods, lock them in a closet and abuse them in ways no man should ever should be. First, you took that young kid by the name of Moore, then you took a man named Hardy, THEN it was York. How many does it take to sate the two of you? How many more victims until you are dealt
with? No more, that's how many. I will deal with you myself. In my own time, in my own way. You have crossed the wrong person, and you will pay dearly."
Vince and Paul E. swallowed hard. They were sweating profusely. Somehow, they knew this person was serious. And, they knew they would not see another ray of sunshine for awhile.
*
Kevin and Adam woke to an empty bed. They quickly got up and searched the house, shouting Matt's name. Jay and Shane joined in followed closely by Mark and Glenn.
Paul and Sean were outside looking for Shannon and Jeff. They heard bikes starting and looked out in time to see the two take off toward town. They knew their friends were out for revenge, but were more worried about Shannon's mental state.
Christian was sitting at the table, head down on folding arms, he knew where the missing men went and why. He felt guilty. If his friends were hurt, it would be because of him.
"Blame game starts later, kid." Kevin said as he came in. "Right now, we have a few brothers to find."
"Hope they are alright." Christian said
"They'll be fine, kid." Kevin answered. "They're tough, they know how to fight."
"I hope they don't take the law in their own hands." Adam replied. He was worried about all of them, but his main concern was his love, Matt. *God, Matt. Where did you go?*
*I just needed time, baby. I'm fine.* Matt answered from where he was. *Just, give me a little more time.*
Chapter 29
The mystery man's accomplices soon found their way to the hideout...
"Glad you two could make it." The man said.
The two men were about the same height as the first one. One was about 5 ft. 11...the other was 6 ft. 3 in. Both dressed in black as well and their faces hidden.
"What are you going to do?" Vince demanded.
"You know the old phrase, payback is a bitch? Well, we're here to pay you back for what you've done to those three young men, Vinny....and this payback is one hell of a BITCH!"
The other two set to work on Vince and Paul E. beating them, using the whips, burning them, using wooden handles to rape them. All the while, enjoying the screams.
"AHHH. Yes! I imagine those boys screamed a lot when you had them, didn't they? You didn't show mercy on them. In a while, I might."
Meanwhile, Matt was outside again. He found that the place down by the lake was the only place he could go where the others respected his privacy. He knew he was watched, but, he was left along to his thoughts. 'First, Shannon. Then, me.....now Christian.' he thought...'well, no more....when I find them, they're dead....promise or no.'
Adam heard his thoughts. How the hell that happened, he didn't know. Nor, did he care. All he cared about was getting to Matt and calming him down. He had an idea what Matt had planned and he had to stop it.
*
After about 6 hours of beating and torturing, the mystery man called a halt to it. He took out a small caliber handgun.... "Now, Vince...to make damn sure you don't get another chance at a young man again....I'm gonna end their suffering....once and for all. Good bye Vince." He said as he shot Vince in the head. Followed by Paul E., who begged for mercy. "Mercy? MERCY? No, I don't think so. No mercy for you...but, mercy for those three young boys...and for any future victims you might have had." He shoots him, killing him instantly.
"Ric, what should we do with them?" One of the other two asked.
"I want you and Robert there to go dump them out deep in the woods north of here. See if the animals will want them. Then, meet me at the garage."
Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson took the two dead bodies and followed what Ric Flair told them to do.
Adam was holding Matt when, suddenly Matt went limp....Adam held tightly, making sure he didn't fall. "Matt? MATT!" He carried him to the house. "KEVIN! HELP!" He screamed.
Chapter 30
Matt was quickly taken to his room and placed in his bed. Adam and Kevin very concerned. Matt was very relaxed, though, for the first time in 4 years. He had no visions of that closet any more, or the voices in his head telling him he was no good, that he couldn't be loved any more...that he was worthless...used merchandise...he was finally at peace mentally.
Adam and Kevin were scared. Matt looked way too peaceful to be just unconscious...could he be dying? Could the nightmares and the memories be getting to him? They took places on either side of him and began a vigil. Each determined not to allow him to die.
A few hours later, Ricky and Robert pull up into the driveway on their bikes...followed by Ric in his car. Paul greets them outside.
"Hello, boys. Good to see you made it!" He said smiling, shaking their hands.
"Wouldn't miss it." Ricky replied, smiling. His blonde locks flowing freely in the wind.
Paul noticed that his leather pants still fit snug against his body. 'Still looks good.' He thought. 'So does Robert. Both still as HOT as ever!'
"How are they?" Robert asked. He let his hair grow also. Still as tall, dark and handsome as ever. If there were any gray hairs, they didn't show.
"Matt passed out. Adam and Kevin are in there with him." Paul replied.
"Passed out?" Ric asked. "Why?"
"Don't know. He passed out a few hours ago. No warning, no nothing. Just collapsed in Adam's arms." Paul replied grimly.
The three raced past him and into the house. "A few hours?" Ricky asked Robert.
"About the same time as we rid the world of two dirty sons of bitches." Robert said.
"You don't think......" Ricky asked.
"Remember who we are talking about, brother." Robert said. "Don't put it past them.
Ric flew into the room. Kevin was very happy to see his old friends again, but, he wished it was under happier circumstances.
Adam, on the other hand, was shocked. What did these three have to do with all this? What was their connection to Kevin? How did they know where to find them?
Ricky fell to his knees. Ric and Robert stood behind him, Paul stood at the door. Ricky gently brushed hair away from Matt's face. "Matty, please....wake up....PLEASE!" He pleaded.
Chapter 31
Ricky was very concerned about Matt. He knew that this dark one was very important to the band and he knew what a special place that was that he held. He'd been there himself years before. Before he and Robert took those positions with Ric's company over in Nashville. A major publishing company in which he held a high postion and had a say in what was printed. He loved the band more than most anything but he just felt that the time was right to move on to something else. When he had heard what happened, he took the opportunity to get back at the very man who had caused him and Robert so much agony in their lives, that he couldn't get here fast enough.
Robert, also, was very concerned. Even though he was know as the quiet one, when it came to family...which he thought the band was to him......he would be very vocal and do whatever it took to protect, defend, and punish those who hurt them. Vince and Paul E. had done that to three of his brothers now and to him and Ricky years before. He HAD to get even....for everyone's sake
Shannon walked in and was stunned to see the three new arrivals....he slowly walked over to Ric and stared in astonishment.
"Dad?" He asked.
Ric smiled and hugged his son. "Yes, Shannon. It's me. I'm here, son. I'm here for you and your brothers here. I'm sorry it took me so long to get here."
"You're here now. That's all that matters." He was so happy to see his dad, but, at the same time, he was sad. Matt was unconscious and no one knew if he would ever wake up again.
Ricky sat by Matt, pleading with him. "Matt, please wake up. You've got us all very worried, brother. We don't know if you're still here with us or not. Let us know you're alright. Open up those big, brown eyes of yours and show us that smile."
As if he actually heard, Matt slowly opened his eyes and stared in shock. "Ricky?"
Ricky smiled. "Yes, Matt. I'm here."
Adam was confused. "You know him?"
Matt nodded. "Yes, Adam. I know him. He was here with the brothers when I came here. We had a lot of fun together. We'd go to the beach and surf, build the BIGGEST sandcastles ever....."
"You remember, Matt?" Kevin asked, hopefully.
Matt nodded. Then, his jaw fell. "I....I...remember.....EVERYTHING!"
Ricky nodded. "Matt, Vince had some sort of control over you. As long as he lived, he could make you believe that you were unloved, unwanted. Far from true, but, still, he could do that."
"But, he can't anymore, brother." Robert said, smiling. "He can't hurt you anymore. We've seen to that."
Kevin knew what that meant. He knew if anyone was capable of it, it was these three. Three of the best brothers a man could ask for.
Matt was shocked. What did they mean? He can't hurt him anymore? What did they do? Why?
Chapter 32
Ricky saw all the questions in Matt's eyes. "Matt, you know how we used to deal with people who caused us pain and heartache?" He asked.
Matt nodded.
"Well, let's just say, old habits die hard." He smiled. "Those two won't be bothering anyone anymore. They caused enough pain for our lifetime so we chose to end theirs. Why? Cause they hurt our brother for too long. Cause they hurt a couple of young kids who did nothing to them, and the main reason....cause Vince hurt Robert a long time ago. I've been wanting to get back at him for that for so long...and it felt so good to finally be able to do that. When I first saw you
after Paul got you out of that cabin, I remembered seeing Robert like that and it brought back all that anger and rage. I was determined to bring him down for the last time. And, Ric here, gave me that opportunity. Even though we are not here with you all any more, it doesn't mean we still don't care about you. We are all brothers here and family sticks together. Now, you can have your life back. And, for that, it was well worth doing what we did."
He smiled at Matt, who stared at Robert. He couldn't imagine this man living through what he did and that earned him even more respect than he ever had. Matt smiled at him.
"Well, gentlemen," Ric said. "I say, this calls for a celebration!"
Cheers went up. They wanted a party and no one threw one like they did! This town would never be the same.
Ricky clasped Matt' hand. "Feel that?" He asked. Matt nodded. "That's blood. Blood that will always be here, no matter what. That's what we're all about. And, we will always be that way. You were here for us more than once, and we will be there for you."
"Thanks, Ricky." Matt said.
"We've always had fun together, Matt. And, now it's time for more fun." Robert said as the joined their hands. Suddenly, everyone had their hands on top. "Brothers, through thick and thin. Whenever, wherever. We'll always be there."
As the party arrangements were being made, Matt went down to the lake and sat on the rock. He was smiling, a genuine smile. His lost soul finally found a home. And, he couldn't be happier. Adam joined him. He didn't say a word, neither did Kevin as he sat on the other side. No words were needed. Just the joining of their souls. Finally having the lost soul home. Vowing never to lose another one.
The end(?)
