NC-7: I wrote this story to answers questions the movie didn't get into: A) WHY would Mel's drug dealer character be best friends with a cop B) WHY was he in a Mexican prison C) WHY would he "bind" himself to a major Mexican drug lord while IN prison in a way that his loyalty to the man almost costs him his life later in the movie
