The Sentinel walks thru life alone
searching for someone to call his own

needing someone to pull him out of the zone

A student appears along the way
with the face of an angel and something to say
A student appears along the way
offering to Guide the Sentinel astray

Sentinel and Guide, together as a team
partners, friends, lovers... almost like a dream
Sentinel and Guide, together as a team
fighting crime and injustice... every day, it seems.

You are my partner, said the Sentinel, my lover and my friend
Our journey together will never end
You are my partner, said the Giude, my lover and my friend
Our lives together will never end

Jim and Blair, for now and for ever
Jim and Blair, always together
Together for ever, in love and in hate
In good times and bad, our two boys will mate
