Their stomachs were pleasantly full, yet each of the three men seated at the corner table frowned in disappointment at Colin's head shake. They'd been looking forward to dessert all evening, the spicy sweetness of the pumpkin cheesecake a surprisingly delightful flavor. But the seasonal special was over.

Grumbling under his breath, Jim scanned the menu, flicking a glance across the table to find his two lovers doing the same. Sighing, he closed the small book and looked up at the waiter.

"Is there anything good that's not on the dessert menu?" he asked plaintively.

"Just me."

Colin's reply was delivered in a bland voice, and it took a second for the words to register. Jim blinked and stared at the man as Blair burst into laughter. But it was Rafe that gave the only possible response. The younger detective continued to study the menu for a moment, then glanced up at Colin.

"And do you come with caramel sauce?"
