Crying On The Inside
No tears on the outside, we carry them all inside.
Thank God, not all people know us well so we don't have too much to hide.
It takes a lot of courage to get up and face a new and scarey day.
Knowing that we don't need to explain, we have nothing to say.
They say that we must stop the Silence and bring it all out.
We wonder sometimes if they know what they are talking about.
It is so frightening, so lonely, what a lousy thing to feel.
But we see all of the survivors, and know this is all real.
We all cry on the inside, so that we don't have to share.
Why is it, that we think we are so unimportant, that no one
will care?
Bless all of us, for trying to be strong.
But crying on the inside is nothing but wrong.
Let it all out, we will all feel like new.
Cry out loud, it is all we can do.
