Category: Lord of the Rings (movie)
Rating: PG-13
Warning: spanking
Disclaimner: We don't own Tolkien's world (or anything in it) even though we wish we did. We just play there.
Author's Note: Note one: Undomiel is Elvish for Evenstar
Note two: Again, playing with ages. Twins are 16, Arwen is 4 and Celebrian has just very recently passed. Making Elrohir the hot-tempered one in this story, LOL.
The Adventures of Arwen Undomiel: Baby-sitting Woes

Two days ago, Lord Elrond, needing a respit and some healing from the Lady of Light, had headed to LothLorien, leaving his children behind, in the care of Lord Glorfindel.
He had given his twin sons, Elladan and Elrohir, a special task though. He had asked his sons to watch over their little sister, as Lord Glorfindel would most likely be unable to keep up with running Imladris for several days as well as the toddler.
Currently the very unhappy baby-sitters were cleaning a disaster that their young sister had created when attempting to make a bath for her dolly. Even though there were maids that could have cleaned the mess, Lord Glorfindel had sent Arwen to nap and ordered the boys to clean it by themselves.
It was a tedious chore of soaking up all the water and properly washing everything to it's original shine. The chore was suddenly interrupted though, as Arwen came runing through the room, chased by the cook, carrying a rather large chocolate cake. The cake was leaving large amounts of chocolate and crumbs on her previous unsoiled dress.
The twins groaned in unison. She *had* to be the most annoying sister *ever* in all of Middle Earth!! Elrohir spotted the cake, and looking surprised, stood right in her way, looking down at her with his hands on his hips.
"Mooooooove!" Arwen demanded, chocolate trickling onto the just cleaned floor. "It's my cake and I want it NOW!" Knowing his clothes might get covered in chocolate cake, the younger twin waited until she was close enough.... then grabbed the chocolate cake quickly from her small hands.
The toddler pouted. "That's not fair! She made it for me, now she won't let me eat it all right now!" She stomped her foot, placing her hands on her hips. "Come on Roh, give it baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack."
The cook rolled her eyes. Yes, at special request from the wee princess, she had indeed made this particular cake. But not to be eaten all at once by Arwen!! It was to be shared at the meal time.
Elladan as well joined in glaring at their sister. "No, Arwen! You will spoil your breakfast...besides I don't think the cook made this cake especially for you," he said as Elrohir held the cake out of her reach.
Making a whiny noise and still pouting, Arwen stomped out of the room. The cook sighed heavily, retrieving the cake. "Thank you Elrohir. I wish your ada was here! Arwen fancies herself Lady of Imladris when he is not!" Clucking her tongue, the cook turned and left with her cake, which would have to be partly re-frosted.
The twins shared a look of pure annoyance and rolled their eyes. "She is an angel for ada. Guess how many times our *darling* sister has been spanked in her young years?" Elladan asked, stressing the word darling. "I know... ada doesn't like disciplining her very much," Elrohir agreed, shaking his head.
"Three times! Well, Arwen knows how to behave herself for him. Too bad we were not such quite learners brother!" Elladan shook his head, remembering too many times to count that he had inspected the floor of certain rooms, along with his brother.
"We still have another two days until Ada returns. We will have to do something with her if she continues this tirade." "Agreed," Elrohir stated. "And I think I'm going to have a little talk with our *darling* sister."
Elladan smirked. "Let us *talk* with her together; make a better impression. Where did the imp run off too?" he asked, leading the way out of room.
As her brother's searched for her, Arwen had gone into the library with her colors. She pulled random books off the shelf, and each picture or illustration that appeared sad, was made happy with vigorous use of the colors.
The twins passed the library, and Elrohir stuck his head in, gasping in awe. Then he grew angry. "ARWEN!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!" He thundered. The angelic looking toddler looked up at her brother, and answered simply "Make Ada's books better. Too many sad pictures."
Arwen continued to color, as though her statement made perfect sense. Not only that, but the chocolate from the front of her dress was currently staining the area of the carpet that she happened to be lying on while coloring!!
Elrohir growled and ran to her, picking her up. He looked up and saw Elladan enter. "Look at what Arwen did!" The older twin scowled at the child. "Arwen!! You should know better! Ada has told you not to play with colors in here!"
Stomping a tiny foot, Arwen promptly threw her colors at him. "Shut up!" she demanded, fully expecting her brothers to obey her demands. Suddenly a sharp swat was given to her backside by Elrohir.
With eyes filled with tears, and hands flying back to cover her tiny backside, Arwen looked up at him. "You no do that!!" The look of horror one her face was one that would make people think someone was attempting to murder her. "I tell ada!"
Rolling his eyes, he took a firm grip of Arwen's ear. "We are older than you, Arwen Undomiel (Evenstar)." Looking towards his twin, he pulled Arwen towards the door. "She is getting a bath, come help me."
Part 2
Where we left the troublesome elflings::: Arwen was being drabbed to be given a bath by her "adoring" (cough cough) brothers.
"Stop pulling my ear, that hurts," Arwen whimpered. "I don't like you right now." "Do you want another smack on your backside?" Elrohir asked pointedly. "No!" the little elleth shouted very quickly, then followed with a whimper. "But you're hurting my ear, what if it falls off?"
Elrohir rolled his eyes, and turned to his twin. "Elladan, start the bath." He released Arwen and began to undress her as Elladan made sure the water was nice and warm before announcing, "The bath is ready."
Squirming, Arwen gave a little frown to Elrohir. "I can undress myself," she announced with a whine. "I know you can, but I don't want you to take a long time to get undressed," was the reply as he continued to undress.
Arwen pushed at his hands defiantly. "Ada says I'm a BIG girl!" An exaperated sigh escaped both twins. "Fine, I'll see how Elladan is doing with the bath. You better be undressed when I get back!" Elrohir warned quiet seriously.
As soon as his back was turned, Arwen stuck her tonuge out at him and began undressing; only there were too many buttons and she was getting frustrated! Making a little squeak of disapproval of so many buttons, she pulled at the matieral, which promptly ripped slighty at the seam.
Just a few moments later, Elrohir returned to Arwen, who attemped to hid the long underslip that had ripped behind her. "Seeee? I did it!" The toddler attempted to give him a brilliant smile, but it only resulted in her brother looking at her sideways. "Are you hiding something?" he asked pointedly.
Shocked and dismayed at how quickly her brother figuered her out, Arwen jumped and fell backwards, landing hard on the floor. "OWW" she shrieked. "Stupid floor!" She proceeded to stick her tongue out at it.
Chuckling to himself, Elrohir picked her up and looked behind, noticing the slightly ripped material. "It was a accident!" Arwen squeaked, wriggling her legs as he held her above the ground in his one arm. "Well, the seamstress will take care of it," he sighed, then brought her into the bathroom.
"No be mad," she demanded pouting. "It not opened good, had to get it off, you said so," she pointed out seriously. "I know, I know, let's get your bath started." Elrohir began to lower her into the warm water. "WAAAAAIT" she screeched, kicking, her little feet splashing water. "You didn't CHECK!"
Stopping, he looked at his flailing sister. "What do you mean I didn't check? I didn't check what?" "For the monsters!" Arwen shouted, causing Elrohir to shake his head. "Ada ALWAYS checks first! Don't wanna get eaten, stupid."
The younger twin looked to Elladan, hoping for some clarification. "I, uh, told her a scary story one time...." Elladan said, looking away. Elrohir rolled his eyes. "Oh, that was smart!" He snorted. "Well, I didn't think she'd be *traumatized* by it!" Elladan snorted in return. "Just get her clean already!"
After assuring Arwen several times, and literally looking in the water, Elrohir was allowed to set her in the bath. He took a cloth and began to wash her, as she giggled, bouncing and splashing in the water. When she splashed him in the face on accident, Elladan laughed loudly. "You might as well take a bath brother, considering how wet you are already!"
Elrohir, in a rather playful mood at the moment, just laughed and splashed her in return. The splash earned him a kiss that Arwen blew to him. "You're funny," she announced. "Can I come out yet? I'm getting wrinkly."
"No, your hair needs to be washed," was the quick reply. "Don't get my eyes with it, or I'll bite you," the stubborn toddler warned. "You won't bite me... cause biting is not nice," Elrohir scolded. "That's what ada says too. You copying," she decided, resigned now to her fate of being very clean.
Elldan snorted. "Arwen, he *did* mention that to us also.... when we were your age." "Oh," she replied thoughtfully. "That was a LONG time ago, huh? When nana here; I miss her, she smell better then you." Elrohir shot a smirk to his brother, then washed the soap from her hair.
Grabbing a towel, Elladan lifted her from the bath and attempted to wrap her in it. "Wanna play a *game*?" Arwen asked excitedly, bouncing around. "Sure," he replied, ready to say anything to make her stay still. "Hold still, I need to get you dry!"
Giving a light push to Elladan, Arwen took off out of the bath house, sans clothes, running through the yard, giggling happily. "Can't catch MEEEEEEEE!" The twins groaned and rolled their eyes in unison, and began giving chase to their naked, and rather fast!, little sister.
Unknown to the three elflings, Glorfindel was walking across the yard, having just retrieved some wine to drink before getting back to some paperwork. Arwen continued to giggle and run. "I LOVE this game!!" she anounced, turning a corner, nearing the Vanya.
"Why did we let ada talk us into this brother?" Elladan asked as they continued to chase the naked elfling. "Probably so one day we'll know how to deal with one of our own... maybe," Elrohir guessed. "Oh yes, now I remember. Never sitting again if we refused!" Elladan exclaimed. Both brother laughed, though they wondered if that might have been preferable.
