Chapter 1
by Nancy A. Hepner
Two forms move under a golden bedcover. Sighs of joy and delight emanate from the bedroom. It's John Crichton and Aeryn Sun.
John lies partially over Aeryn. He licks the base of her nipples, then sucks them well. She holds her breath then sighs with delight. He pushes his erect penis into her just enough to get wet then strokes it gently over her clitoris. She gasps. He watches her.
Her hand on John's neck, Aeryn's back arches to him. He kisses her breasts and resumes sucking them, nibbling them. Aeryn swallows and moans. He quickly brings her to climax.
A rich desire forms as her womb cries out for him. He touches her. It becomes an intense, deep ache for him. She lifts her hips longingly to him.
John's incredible passion for her is released; he begins to tremble. He raises up and lets her guide him in. As she removes her hand he glides in straight, lunging into her. She gasps in rapture and surprise.
John nearly comes immediately from her incredible heat. He hesitates, waiting, resting inside of her, his eyes close. She moans and grasps his hips, pulling him toward her.
He lay on her and kisses her. In their embrace, John slips his hands under Aeryn's hips and pulls her gently to him. Slowly and gradually rubbing inside of her he sighs. Such a sensation, deep inside she has never experienced.
Her tears flow as she cries in sublime joy.
John hears her cries. He stops and asks "What's wrong baby! What's the matter?"
"Nothing. Nothing's wrong. It's wonderful. Please don't stop." She says, smiling softly.
He nuzzles and kisses her tears. He begins again, slowly, watching her. He closes his eyes.
John pushes his chest up from her. He begins his slow deliberate thrusts. His gradual building ascends Aeryn in her climax. He hesitates just enough to prolong. He is in ecstasy.
Aeryn eagerly pulls him toward her striking hips. She digs her fingernails into John's lower back intensifying his sensation to their act. He gasps. His rhythm begins to quicken as his desire grows to overwhelming. John's erection thickens to Aeryn's extreme delight. She squeals.
She grips his chest, his nipples. He breathes, gasping as his whole body tingles to her touch. He grips the bed. With all of his might he strikes against her, within her, giving all to her.
They breathe into each other and live within this universe where they are joined in such powerful orgasm they scream.
Her womb draws up his precious fluid as she comes deeply inside, receiving him. She trembles, gasps and holds her breath as her existence lives only from his being.
His powerful thrusts take on a life of their own as he continues to come into Aeryn's increasing contractions.
He cries out. With one final thrust his face turns as if in agony. He feels complete release. They groan in ecstasy together. John collapses on her. His heart filled with her.
For a long time they lie together in sublime breathless splendor, breathing life from one to another.
John caresses Aeryn's hair with his hand. He breathes in her scent. He longingly kisses her neck then whispers in her ear. "I love you Aeryn." His deep voice resonates through her.
She closes her eyes and sighs. "Oh John."
They passionately embrace and kiss. John nuzzles her then rolls over next to her.
Aeryn fondles his chest. "Why did we wait so long?"
John grasps her hand, closes his eyes and swallows. "I don't know." He looks into her eyes. "It feels so right."
Aeryn Cuddles into him. "Mmmmm."
John turns his head and kisses her tenderly.
Suddenly there is a pulse rifle in Aeryn's face. A rifle barrel in Crichton's ribs. There are Commandos onboard!
The first Commando holds his Pulse Rifle on Aeryn. "Don't move. Or you die."
The second Commando pulls Crichton to his feet, cuffing him. "You're coming with us Crichton." He hisses and drags him toward the door.
John is startled, struggling. "No!"
The Commander threatens him. "Try anything and she's dead." He signals the Commando guarding Aeryn. The Commando changes stance and grins menacingly. "Say goodbye to your precious Crichton." Aeryn glances nervously into his rifle barrel.
John stops struggling. "Ok! Ok. Whatever you say." His eyes meet with Aeryn's. "I'll go with you. Just, don't hurt her." The Commando threatens to fire into her face He looks at Crichton with an evil grin.
Crichton yells. "Aeryn!"
The third Commando jabs his rifle into Crichton's side. "You thought you'd escape us Crichton." He snorts at him with disdain. "I'll enjoy watching your execution."
Their Commander Comms the Marauder. "Power up! Signal Crais! We have Crichton." Then orders his Commandos. "Move out! Crais is waiting."
The second and third Commandos grab Crichton sharply by his arms and drag him into the passageway backwards.
The Commando guarding Aeryn backs out of the room last, still holding his pulse rifle on her. "Until the next time, Officer Sun." He snarls.
Aeryn sits straight up in bed and cries out. "John!"
She jumps to her feet, grabs her Comm badge and side arm. She removes the pulse pistol from its holster as she runs barefoot down the passageway. She Comms Pilot.
"Pilot, how did those Commandos get on board?" In the landing bay she opens the inner doors. The bay is empty and the outer transport doors are sealed. Comms Pilot. "Pilot what's happened to the Marauder? Net it before it gets away!" She straps on her holster.
Pilot is shocked. He checks and rechecks Moya's readings. "What Marauder?"
"I saw Commandos on board, they had to come from somewhere!" Aeryn runs to command.
"There are no Commandos on board Officer Sun. And neither Moya nor I have detected any other ships since we entered this sector."
"How about the DRDs? Has there been any movement outside of quarters?"
"Only yours."
Aeryn runs into command and turns on the strategy table. She sees no ships near Moya.
"How could that be?" She looks in disbelief at the strategy table then checks the panel. "Where could it have gone?"
"Where did you see them?"
"They were in my quarters."
"How did you repel them without me detecting weapons fire?"
"I didn't. They just…left." Aeryn just trails off as she spins around and exits. She draws her side arm and runs down the darkened passageway to quarters. She opens Crichton's door and cautiously walks into the black. Slowly she crosses the floor to his bed.
She shudders then looks down. "Crichton!" Shocked; surprised she sees that he is there. She lowers her weapon.
John rolls over noisily. His arm flops out and brushes against her leg. He speaks her name, half-aware of her presence. "Aeryn?"
Aeryn looks at him and slowly extends her hand to touch him.
John shifts suddenly. "OK Aeryn. I'll get on it first thing."
Aeryn withdraws her hand and straightens.
"Officer Sun? Officer Sun?" Pilot Comms her.
Aeryn turns and slowly walks toward the door. "All clear Pilot. Stay on alert." She re-holsters her pulse pistol and exits back up the passageway.
In the Center Chamber at breakfast, Chiana is seated, eating.
Aeryn enters. She picks up her food tray. As she nears the table, suddenly she drops it. "Oh."
"I'd think you'd be more relaxed after the night you've had."
"What do you mean?" Aeryn looks at her crossly then picks up the food cubes.
"I saw you leaving his quarters this morning."
"You misunderstood."
"Then why did he call your name out?" Chiana cracks an impish grin. "Twice?"
"I don't know." Aeryn says getting exasperated. She stands up.
John enters. He picks up a food tray, walks up beside Aeryn and cheerfully says,
"Good morning you two."
Aeryn nearly drops the tray again. Her food cubes scatter. "Uh." She begins to pick them up again.
Chiana rises, walks to Crichton, stops, smiles broadly into his face and says,
"Good morning." She glances at Aeryn then Crichton, chortling as she continues out.
John gives a curious look toward Chiana then to Aeryn. "What? Did I walk in on something?"
Aeryn scrounges for her spilt food cubes. "No." She says quickly hoping to shut him up.
"You sure?" John tries to see her face.
"No. We were just talking." She blushes and turns her face from him.
"Oh. OK." John puts down his tray, then turns to the refrigeration unit. He reaches in to get a drink. "Say I had a dream about you last night."
"Did you really." Aeryn disposes of her tray.
"Yeah." John says reflecting. "You came into my quarters with your pistol drawn. You were wearing your, um, my underwear." He laughs.
"That is odd." Aeryn glances at him as he sits down.
"Then you asked me to help outfit your prowler for long distance flight."
"We could still do that instead of going down to the planet." Aeryn blurts out anxiously.
"You, you mean you really need to do that?" John says with surprise. "You're planning a trip?"
"Well, no. But it's still a good idea." She pulls a drink from the refrigeration unit.
"This is too weird." He shakes his head.
"All right. You don't have to if you don't want to." She begins to walk out.
"Sure. It probably won't take too long if we start right away." He takes another drink. "Say, you want to help me get my module ship shape?"
"Next time Crichton." She turns and walks out.
As Aeryn walks she finds herself at Zhaan's quarters, troubled about the night's lingering effect on her.
"Zhaan. Maybe you could help me. Something happened last night", Aeryn paces, "that was upsetting."
"I'll help if I can Aeryn." Zhaan watches her.
"Commandos were in my room! I woke. I thought it was real!"
"It was just a dream Aeryn. We all have such dreams; only, most times we don't remember them."
"I don't. I mean, usually I sleep soundly. I don't remember ever dreaming." She motions with her hands trying to express. "This is the first time and… and."
"And what Aeryn?"
"It was very unsettling. I feel." She takes a deep breath and holds it. Then says. "As if something, is wrong."
"If you think it is an omen perhaps you should take it seriously."
"An omen of what?" Aeryn says somewhat perturbed. "I don't believe in such things."
"Then you must put it out of your mind."
"I've tried, but I can't."
~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile in command, Rygel hovers. "Pilot, how much longer until we reach the commerce planet?"
"Another 5 arns." Pilot appears in the clam shell.
Chiana walks up behind Rygel. "Good! The last one didn't have anything worth snurching."
Rygel turns at her remark. "Snurching? Just remember, if you get caught, you don't know me."
"I'm not sure I want to know you now." Chiana laughs.
Rygel shakes his finger at her. "Watch it girlie."
In the hangar, Crichton is working on his module. Aeryn walks in and over to her prowler. John looks up.
"Hi. Just getting a head start on the module. What's up?" He goes back to what he's doing.
"I've decided to take my prowler down to the surface." She climbs the side of it and peers inside.
"Good, we could all use a little R & R." He pauses then asks. "So, you feeling better?"
"Better?"
"Yes, earlier you seemed, upset."
"I'm all right Crichton." She snaps, then thinking she says. "However, I'd feel better if you stayed close today."
John looks up from his work. "Close?"
"On the planet." She quips. "I don't want to have to come looking for you." Sounding more annoyed than usual.
"Ok. Ok. Whatever you say." John says sticking his head back in the module.
Aeryn takes a double take. It's what John said in her dream.
"I'll stay close." He continues.
"Good." Aeryn climbs down off her prowler, walks to the work table and puts down her pulse rifle.
John notices the pulse rifle and her side arm. "Why, are you expecting trouble?"
"Just being cautious." Aeryn unfastens her holster and lays it next to the pulse rifle. "Come on Crichton. I want to get the work done before we go."
Some time later Moya approaches the commerce planet and establishes orbit. Moya's crew takes the transport pod to the surface. Aeryn and Crichton take the prowler. The planet is populated by Cru'vers; Thin green people with black hair. The commerce district is bustling with activity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of Captain Crais' marauders discovers Moya.
Officers Talmak and Raker stand ready for assault. Their bodies tense as the marauder enters the leviathan's landing bay.
Pilot calls the crew on their Comms. "There is a marauder approaching Moya. It has Crais' command carrier ident signal. We're being boarded!"
"Talmak! Raker!" Lieutenant Merrik yells over the retro blast. "Our informant says the escaped prisoners are on the planet. Secure the vessel! If they avoid capture, they may try to retake the leviathan!"
"Aye, Sir." Talmak & Raker snap to attention. They jump from the docking ring as the Marauder lands. They double-time it to Pilot's den. Rifles ready.
As soon as the inner landing-bay doors seal, Lieutenant Merrik engages the marauder lift sequencer. The Lt. And his remaining crew, Sergeant Larroy, Officer's Slatum and Camda leave for the planet to search for Commander John Crichton.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Zhaan is inside an herbal shop. Chiana and Aeryn are browsing the street venders. Crichton is down the street and around the block from them when they get the news.
Aeryn answers Pilot over her Comm. "We'll be there as soon as we can, pilot." She Comms D'Argo. "D'Argo, you and I will have to deal with this."
D'Argo hears Aeryn and answers. "I'll get Rygel."
Rygel has been trading.
D'Argo grabs the back of Rygel's throne. "Rygel! We have been discovered! It's time to leave."
Aeryn is anxious she Comms. "D'Argo."
"I'm coming." D'Argo walks toward Aeryn's location. Rygel follows.
Zhaan emerges from the herbal shop. She stands with Aeryn & Chiana.
Aeryn turns to Chiana. "Chiana, get the others onboard the pod and get out of here."
"Why should I? They're not looking for me." Chiana says, unwilling to take orders.
"All right." Aeryn says. " If you want to stay here."
"Aye, aye Captain." Chiana answers facetiously. Then to her Comm, "Crichton! Rygel! Meet me at the pod. We're leaving. NOW!" She walks toward the transport pod.
Zhaan follows Chiana.
John walks back toward the transport. He is still down a cross street out of sight of the others when Peacekeeper Sergeant Larroy spots him.
"Crichton!" She exclaims. Both a startled discovery and order for Crichton to halt. She takes aim with her pulse rifle at Crichton's chest.
"Crap!" John freezes in her sites.
Officer Slatum and Officer Camda come running up behind Sergeant Larroy. The two spot Crichton and halt suddenly. The Sergeant is distracted by their approach for a microt.
John ducks between the street venders and into the crowd to escape. He yells as he runs. "I'm outta' here. Catch ya' later, Peacekeeper!"
Sergeant Larroy shouts, "Stop!" She fires three consecutive pulses, scattering the screaming crowd. She misses Crichton.
"Weapons fire!" D'Argo pivots toward the sounds of the pulse blasts, only to be stopped by the Peacekeeper Lieutenant.
"Hold, Luxon!" Lt. Merrik, his arm extended, holds his pulse pistol in D'Argo's face.
Rygel sees and rams the back of the Peacekeepers head with his throne sled knocking the lieutenant down, unconscious.
D'Argo, surprised, looks down at the unconscious Peacekeeper then to Rygel and smiles. "Thanks." D'Argo draws his Qualta blade and runs toward the weapons fire.
"Think nothing of it!" Rygel says to be heard by D'Argo; then to himself. "It was my pleasure." He spits on the Peacekeeper hitting him in the face. "My pleasure entirely." He wipes his lip, then glides away to join the others on the transport pod.
John hits his comm. "Help! Aeryn! D'Argo! They're after me!" The Commandos pursue Crichton, firing.
"Who?"
"Peacekeepers, Aeryn!" John says dodging the pulse blasts. "They're after me. Three of them." Just then he runs through the intersection in line of sight of Aeryn.
Aeryn sees Crichton running through the intersection. The Commandos run after Crichton, single file.
Aeryn manages to get off a couple of quick shots, breaking off the two officer's pursuit. Peacekeeper Officers Slatum & Camda are forced to take up position to return fire.
Aeryn Comms to Crichton. "I'm right behind you! You're cut off. Run back this way!"
"Easy for you to say!" John yells to his Comm. "They're shooting at me!" He cuts right in an attempt to find a way back.
D'Argo runs up behind Aeryn. He takes a defensive position and begins firing on the Peacekeeper positions.
Sergeant Larroy continues in pursuit of Crichton. She keeps missing. Finally she stops. John is a nearly to the end of the street. She takes careful aim and fires, hitting Crichton with a pulse blast.
John cries out, "AAaaahh!" and goes sprawling. He lies with his face in the sand.
John grabs the side of his leg. He yells to Comm. "I'm hit! I'm down! Oh God, it hurts!"
Crichton has unknowingly been running directly toward the marauder. He looks up at it, realizing. "D'Argo! Aeryn! I'm in real trouble here!" John sees he's next to an alley and manages to stand. He makes it to a side door. He nearly passes out.
Sergeant Larroy sees she's wounded Crichton and reports to the others. "I have him! I have Crichton! Report back to the ship!" There is no response from her Lieutenant. She Comms again. "Lieutenant? Lieutenant Merrik! Please respond!"
Merrik sits up, holding the back of his head. "Sergeant?" He wipes Rygel's phlegm off his face, with a curious look. "What the Frell?
"I got him, Lieutenant Merrik!" Breathless, she pauses. "I got Crichton. I think I wounded him."
"Good work Sergeant." Merrik is still wiping his face. He rises to his feet and dizzily walks toward the marauder. "Put him onboard. Prepare for immediate launch." He looks up and sees the transport pod leaving the planet.
John steadies himself on the doorframe, careful not to get his blood on it. He opens the door and limps inside. He turns and kicks loose sand over his blood trail. It seems to take all of his strength.
John begins to lose consciousness. He calls for help over the comm. "If you guys don't hurry, I'm dead meat!" He closes the door. He sees some loose pillows and hides under them. "Let's hope she's no good at hide and seek."
The two Officers fire a barrage at Aeryn and D'Argo's positions in an attempt to retreat.
D'Argo fires, hitting Officer Slatum.
"Ugh." Slatum falls.
Officer Camda escapes. Firing behind, he hits D'Argo.
"Uh!" D'Argo falls.
Aeryn fires twice at Officer Camda. She misses. She hits her comm. "Zhaan, D'Argo's wounded. He needs your help!" She bends down and immediately begins beating on D'Argo's wound to make the blood run clear.
~~~~~~~~~~
Onboard the transport pod Zhaan is very upset. "I have to help D'Argo, Chiana. Land the pod now!"
"I'm not going back there. They're shooting at each other!"
Rygel speaks up. "I'm with her. We have to think of ourselves." He holds on for dear life. "Watch what you're doing!"
"You think you can do better?" Chiana removes her hands from the controls. The pod suddenly dips. "Here." She offers the controls to Rygel.
Zhaan grabs onto her seat. "Watch out Chiana!"
"Stop it!" Rygel's throne sled floats away and bumps into the hull. "Aahhh! I'm Sorry. I'm Sorry!"
"That's better. Chiana grabs the controls again. The pod straightens.
~~~~~~~~~~
Sergeant Larroy reaches the position where she saw Crichton fall. She turns the corner looking for him.
~~~~~~~~~~
Aeryn is concerned for D'Argo. She stays by him, waiting for Zhaan.
D'Argo tells her. "I'll be all right. Go. Go!"
Aeryn places her hand on his arm.
D'Argo looks at Aeryn. "Go after Crichton."
Aeryn runs past the fallen Peacekeeper Officer. She says to Comm. "I'm coming Crichton!"
Officer Slatum picks up his pulse-rifle and aims from his fallen position at Aeryn's back.
D'Argo fires a single shot, killing the Peacekeeper, then passes out.
Lieutenant Merrik sends a signal over his ship's Comm to his officers on Moya. "Officers Talmak and Raker, the leviathan transport has left the planet. Prepare for borders."
Talmak hears his Lieutenant's orders over the Comm and moves to the hangar. Raker holds position in Pilot's den.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the transport pod Zhaan is nearly yelling at Chiana. "We can't go back to Moya! There are Peacekeepers on board! Go back down to the planet so I can help D'Argo!"
"Frell that! I'm waiting for thier signal!" Chiana says stubbornly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back on the planet Aeryn runs up the street where she heard the last shots fired. The streets are deserted. "Where are you Crichton?" She Comms.
John, keeping his voice low, answers the Comm. "I'm down an alley. I'm hiding in a house. I thought the Peacekeeper was right behind me! I'm only 30 feet from their Marauder."
The Sergeant still searches the alley for Crichton. She thinks for a moment then looks down and sees where a trail of blood begins. It points toward the door. She opens the door. The blood trail continues inside. She sticks her pulse rifle into the stack of pillows.
"Surrender now Crichton. Or die."
The pillows fall to show his position. He puts his hands up, one covered in blood. "Ok. Ok. You don't have to be so pushy."
The Sergeant handcuffs him. She Comms her men. "Camda! Slatum! I need your assistance." She pulls Crichton to his feet and pushes him toward the door.
John stumbles. "Hey! Watch it!"
The Sergeant pushes him again.
John falls. "Uh!"
The Sergeant takes a threatening stance over Crichton. Her rifle poised to fire.
John turns over. He sees her stance. He begs her. "No! Don't!"
Aeryn sees Officer Camda crossing the street. "Peacekeeper." He is out of range. She immediately starts running toward him.
Camda stands in the doorway. "Officer Slatum didn't make it, Sir." Sees what his sergeant is about to do. "Our mission, Sir!"
Sergeant Larroy straddles Crichton with her pulse rifle ready. Her finger is on the trigger. Crichton nervously looks into her rifle barrel.
Officer Camda yells. "Captain Crais gave us direct orders, Sir! He's our prisoner Sir!"
The Sergeant pulls John up by his cuffs. "Get up Crichton!" She pushes him toward the door. "Move!"
"Uh." John catches himself on the doorframe. His hand leaves a bloody print.
Officer Camda takes John from the door and pulls him across the sand toward the marauder.
The Sergeant follows, her pulse rifle ready.
On board the Marauder. We hear Aeryn's shots impacting on the hull. Sparks fly in through the hatch. The Sergeant and Officer Camda enter and drop Crichton on the deck.
John falls. "Uh." He is in agony, unable to hold his wound.
Lieutenant Merrik powers up. "Sergeant! Report!"
"The prisoner is secure, Lieutenant. We are being fired upon. Permission to return fire Sir."
"Belay that Sergeant!"
Officer Camda secures the hatch.
"Our orders are to capture Crichton. No mistakes, Sergeant." The Lieutenant barks. He turns back to ships controls hits the launch sequencer.
Aeryn runs up just in time to see the marauder blast off. She fires twice as the marauder streaks out of sight. "Crichton!"
The Marauder blast drowns her scream. Then silence.
Aeryn Comms the others. "The Marauder has left the planet. They've got Crichton."
Lt. Merrik has the look of marked determination. He gives more power to the craft. "Now we can get the Frell out of the uncharted territories!" He makes a broad turn. To Comm., "Hold your positions." The signal travels to his three officers one of them dead. "We'll come back for the escaped prisoners after we deliver Crichton to Captain Crais."
The Lieutenant hails to Crais' ship. He leaves a cryptic message. "Tell Captain Crais, I have his brother's murderer."
John's leg covered in blood. He looks up from the deck. He knows that capture means his death.
