Work Text:

Moonbase Alpha Commander John Koenig stepped into the office of Doctor Helena Russell and saw her staring at the endless sea of stars.

"Are you feeling okay, Helena?", asked John before she turned around and asked, "How long has it been, John?"

And after he realized what she was asking, John shrugged his shoulders and said, "I have no idea, Helena. I lost count a year ago."

"I really do miss the Earth, John.", said Helena before John gave her a big hug, wiped away her tears and said, "I know you do, Helena. We all miss our home planet."
