Talking With Orion
by SisterWine
Rhythm sat on her balcony, a ledge big enough for a wire chair and table. She looked up and to the right to find Orion, her nightly companion. "Evenin', mon cher," she smiled. "Poppa an' I went shoppin' today. He wasn't payin' attention and' slammed de overstuffed cart into some guy named Logan."
Rhythm paused a moment and smiled. The moon glowed behind the rows of tall spanish moss. Orion just twinkled as he looked down. The night was still and chilly.
"Poppa was blushin'. I think he liked Logan."
"Time for bed, petite," Remy said from the door.
"Oui."
