Work Text:

I really do not understand how it had all came to be!

I mean, everything was as beautiful as the eye could see!

All of our family and friends were right there
Inside that church and smiling with understading and care!

And my own father was waiting until the count of three
For someone to play 'Here Comes The Bride'
On the pipe organ with such wonderous pride!

But just as that was about to happen, the best man
Had walked over to the preacher man
And said the one thing that he could no longer hide
From everyone inside that very room
In spite of the fact that by saying so could doom
On this very planet Earth the most wonderful things
And that includes my own wedding!

You see,he had said that Craig...the groom
Who I was suppossed to marry on that day...
Had disappeared along with my sister May!

And when I had looked around and noticed that it was true,
My own heart had really turned blue
Because I had found out in a big way
That Craig had not only jilted me at the altar
But he had eloped with my sister!

I really do not understand!

Everything was going so grand!

We were suppossed to live happily ever
After...and I know that with all of my heart!

So,why was he unable to live up to his part
Of the deal and marry me
Instead of 'Little Miss Sweet Honeybee'?

Yes,it's true that she had helped him repair his go-cart!

But that was back when we were all little kids
And unable to put a lid
On some of the stuff we had done back then!

Oooohhhh,I wish that I could be forgiven
Right now for still acting like a bratty little kid!

I had suddenly came to realize that I had been
Shoving poor Craig right into the Lion's Den!

Craig,I really am sorry for forcing you to marry me
On the day that was suppossed to be
Beautiful and without one ounce of sin!
