Tattered Wolves
by Pirate Turner
The concerned whimpers she heard made Virginia look up from leafing through her magazine. "Cripes!" Wolf cried as he delicately extracted a sweater from the laundry. "You're ruining my favorite sweater!" Turning the shirt the proper way, he released a howl when he saw the family of wolves that should have been prowling across the front of the sweater now laying in tatters.
Wolf's sad howl echoed out of the apartment building and out into the streets beyond, but Virginia merely grinned. That was only one of her plans for ruining his life. "Sorry," she said and turned another page.
