To many times I sat and cried for a love that isn't mine.
To see you there without a care.
With a smile that lightens up the room as I stand
in the gloom.
To see your eye's brighten as she smiles at you with
love and care.
So hard to hide the black despair that wells up deep
inside as I try forever to hide.
You see me as a friend of sorts no lovers you and I at
least not in this life time.
No sweet caress, no gentle sigh from a lover laying by
my side.
I hold no place within your heart, not lovers you and I.
A gentle man with work rough hands, no demons does
he hide.
There is no darkness he can not out shine.
I scream and beg within my head see me!
Please just look at me.
