Work Text:
Touch Me
by Lady Midath
"Touch me."
I look into his eyes and I see all the pain and loneliness there. But I can also see the longing and the hope as well.
"Touch me," he whispers, his breath cool and sweet against my skin. "Touch me so I know what it's like to be loved. Touch me so I know what it's like to be human again."
Wordlessly I reach over and stoke his arm, stopping at the line of ragged scars that marr the perfection of his slender frame. Then slowly I lean forward to kiss the fine tilted lips, pressing them against my own.
"Touch me," I hear him beg as he buries his head against my shoulder, pressing himself against the warmth of my body.
And as we lay huddled in each others arms, I gently touch him, love him, caress him.
Together we keep the world at bay and the dark outside.
