Her lips were full and soft, like berries left too long on the vine. Shadows filled her eyes, borne more from old secrets and lies than seductive thoughts or passions. Her smile held a dark amusement, the sort that chuckled in the shadows instead of laughing in the sunlight.
Her kisses were intoxicating.
One hand slid up his arm, nails leaving thin lines on his skin. "Why do you wait so long before you come see my, my darling? It makes me wonder if you could be less devoted than you whisper in the night."
Teeth nipped at his ear, white and sharp and even, "It makes me wonder if you care for me even a little, or if I'm only your diversion..."
