Tippy

Fur of gold, eyes of brown,
On four legs she gets around.
In her, love for family and friends does abound.
She does her best to cheer them up without a sound.
She is a sister, a daughter, and a friend.
She is a warrior, a pet, and a confidante.
She is all this and more.
She spends her days lying around
Unless danger the bend should round.
Then, she becomes a silent and deadly warrior
To all those who would threaten her loved ones.
She appears as a dog, but is much, much more.
She is a warrior.
A pet.
A confidante.
A sister.
And a daughter.
But above all, she is a friend.
She is Tippy.
