Work Text:
A Day At The Museum
and if the three did meet
one sunny day soon
at the yellow stone building
near the river
to view the masters
I wonder what the others there
that day would think...
about the toofless cowboy
passing out his cards
with his six guns and hat on
proudly stopping every one
everyone that passed him,
have you seen GymArt?
excuse me, but do you surf the web
heres my card..
they were not really sisters
in fact all they had in common
was their love of art
and the dirty bootie they each wore
over their broken ankles
the Bootie sisters with their sticks
pointing out details to each other
debateing brush strokes
and cafes
looking up at the wall
forget all about him
many others all around them
some looking up at the wall
others walking and wispering
some in uniforms
with walkie talkies
hanging from their belts
Once they saw that he
was up to his old tricks again
they had to ask him to
leave the building
again
standing outside
do not touch he was told!
not again they said!
not the card...
Bootie Sisiter now angered
choose to call it time to eat
and plan to return here
with their sticks in hand
to this yellow stone building
near the river
to look up at walls
and debate brush strokes
pointing with their sticks
planning to meet again
soon with out him
after all he is only a boy
he is still the boy man
he runs from love as if it would hurt him
he has been in the yellow stone building many times
and so it goes with love...
"where shall we eat"
he said, "and what
Italian or chineese?"
