Work Text:
Nothing In Common
There were only ever a few things
that we had in common from the start
you were looking for true love
me, a cure for my cold, black, broken heart
Both of us loved the country
and we both shared a love for art
we were both artists and poets
but we were doomed, right from the start
Slowly as time passed us by
one by one you took them all away
now we have nothing in common
nothing's left, what more can I say
Now you have just gone and taken
the last thing that we could share
and now that that's gone
tell me why should I even care?
Now there seems there is nothing
in common between you and me
I guess I will just have'ta go back
to the way I used to be
Once, I can remember I was happy
and never tried to play at loves game
the past few years let me make it clear
you have driven me totaly insane
Now it's over...
so please, just go away
you did this to me
I don't care what you have to say
only you knew how badly
I needed to take that ride
only you did the things you do
now I am just gonna go hide..
