Am I Going?
It's snowing in Bakerfield
first time in 25 years..
there are earthquakes in Colombia
many have lost all, see their fears

The President of the US is on trial
has been now, for sometime
I am very concerned about all this
it weighs heavy on my mind
I try to write what I think
is poetry to me
some'a ya think that it may stink
some'a ya just might be
right, about what you're saying
and that this list is not just for me
so with this, my very last poem
I will set you all free
you know I could go on forever
posting my work to this list
I have so many poems and things
and posting them is a kind'a bliss
but I think it is time that I
take a break from all this jazz
I leave you all to play alone
because I think I am gonna spaz
they say that ya can't please everyone
no, not all of the time
I just wish that I could please one,
just once, with my rhyme
