Man Or Mouse
“Having that thing inside doesn’t make you an animal,” Raven told him. “Knowing when to let it out is what makes you a man.”
“Yeah?” Beast Boy asked through his shock.
She gave that little eye-smile of hers, the sardonic grin that was both laughing with him, and laughing at him. “Yeah.”
She thinks I’m…a man? But she always calls me an immature kid…
And he always called Raven creepy and gloomy, but what he really felt was different.
Licking suddenly dry lips, Beast Boy turned lightning-quick and pressed a kiss to her lips, barely having an instant to register the soft warmth of her mouth and the shocked light in her eyes.
Then he changed into a mouse and ran away.
Boy, man or beast, he was still kind of a coward when it came to his feelings for Raven.
