Drabble 87: Flying

He could feel it running through his veins. Could feel it in every single cell of his body. In ever pore of his skin. This feeling of complete and utter freedom. Underneath him was nothing but air. He could look down on the earth. Could see it like a bird saw it. Above him was the solid body of Nick Stokes, handling the paraglider with great skill. Above him was security. Safety. He closed his eyes for a second, and for a while he stopped thinking, and concentrated simply on this feeling.
And in his body he could feel life.
