It's Over

The night is dark and empty,
Not as it used to be.
One thing I am missing,
and that's kissing you.
I never kissed you before.
Yet I know what it would be like:
The highest of all feelings,
rushing through my spine.
Washing away the last bit of pain,
Rescuing me from my past,
And taking me to tomorrow,
leaving all my fears behind.
I know that it's just a dream,
when I see you in that cold-hearted chamber.
