Work Text:

IDIC
by Omega

What draws me to this man?
His behavior is alien to me.
He was not forged out of the red sands
that snake across my homeworld's deserts.
Yet I find myself compelled to follow him
wherever he chooses to lead me.
It is foolish to give in to such an emotion.
I am Vulcan, I should be able to control.
Yet with him, I cannot.
And I feel no shame.
I doubt even Surak would disapprove.
He is the very model of the IDIC,
the cornerstone of my people's philosophies.
He is also the master of my heart.
It is difficult to have such a master.
Yet it has also been paradise.
