"You shouldn't be here alone." Terry said, walking closer to where Bruce was sitting in the Batcave.

"I'm not, McGinnis. I'll be fine." Bruce said. His voice echoed, causing the bats to scatter above them.

Instead of turning to look at Terry, he reached down to pat Ace's head. Bruce felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Terry's concerned
expression.

"But I won't be. C'mon Wayne. You can come over and eat with my family. You'll like it. Ace, too."

Both men looked over at the great dane, who's ear's perked up at hearing his name.

"See? Even the mutt agrees with me. Max helped mom make the green bean casserole. Not sure if that's good or bad idea."

"I should stay here." Bruce paused. "Green bean casserole?"

Terry's smirk grew. "Two pans full."

Bruce gave another glance towards the large computer screen before finally turning it off. Getting up from his chair, he reached for his cane. At this, Ace's tail wagged.

"Let's go."
