Nicholas Lea
There are many pages that tell about Nick, and it's not my intention to duplicate them, but I do want to tell you how much I admire this man's skill as an actor. His special talent and charisma have allowed him to take what, on paper at least are the most unsympathetic characters, and endow them with humanity, sympathy and charm.

Alex Krycek!
His most well known creation is Alex Krycek, the mysterious counter spy from the X-Files. Alex pops up from time to time to cause disruption to the lives of the characters in the X-Files. He has had less than an hour of screen time since the show began, but Nick's careful crafting of his character has put flesh on his bones and made him a vital part of the show.
My favourite character has to be Anson Green, the unhappy man Nick played in the short lived show, "Moloney" that starred Peter Strauss as a police psychiatrist. If you haven't seen this show, call me. Get a copy. It's wonderful. I can't say enough about his performance in what could have been just another very bad show.

Vic Mansfield!
Nick was one of the three stars of "John Woo's Once a Thief", playing Victor Mansfield, ex cop and man with a heart. He did a lot with this clumsily written character, though he was never really allowed to carry things over from week to week. I wish they had let me write that show!
He was Sgt. Baines, muscle man and action hero, in the stinker Xtro ll. That in itself made the show watchable.

Finally, there is his portrayal of Immortal Cory Raines in the Highlander. He must have had fun making the show, and it shows. It's a romp from start to finish. Oh, how I wish it could have been a spin off.
If you haven't seen Nick yet, he has two productions coming soon. Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye has been made for Fox TV, and should be aired sometime soon, and the feature film Vertical Limit is due for release in December 2000. Both feature Nick and I can't wait!
