It was Spring Cleaning time again, and they'd divided the chores the only sensible way. They'd drawn lots. Winston Zeddemore wound up lucky this year -- he had the third floor, instead of the basement.
While cleaning the bunkroom, he found a thick chain necklace on the floor by Egon's bed. He picked it up, wondering. A flat pendant dangled from links -- it was oddly shaped, round, like a dog tag.
Engraved on it were the words : "My name is EGON. I belong to JANINE MELNITZ. If found, call 212-324-8437."
Winston carefully placed it on Egon's nightstand, and backed away.
