Work Text:
Unusual Valentine
by Caitrin Torres
Kate finally understood why men said women should come with instructions. What *was* the appropriate gift for your new girlfriend on Valentine's Day? A heart-shaped box of candy just wasn't Abby, but roses implied something she wasn't sure she had the right -- or the courage -- to say yet.
Kate saw Abby head back toward the lab, and with a mental apology for *ever* teasing her brother about this, she followed. Abby stopped short when she found the leather bracelets they'd seen last weekend on her desk. She met Kate's gaze through the glass wall with a surprisingly shy smile. Perfect.
