V: Remembering Julie Parrish

Donovan looked at the graves of the people who have died defending their headquarters. 15 resistance fighters are now dead. They were just buried a minute ago.
He wished that they could have buried Julie as well. He was thinking about how Julie died by a beam meant for him. Julie always thinks about the feeling of others. Maybe that why he fell in love with her. Julie was always a caring person.
Sometime, he feel that she care too much. He remember how Diana tried to convert Julie, by using her caring against her. It didn't work, because Julie somehow knew the price of being converted. She didn't want to pay that price. That why she fought the converting as much as she could.
After she was rescued, Julie doubted that she could do the job.
Donovan have to smile, as he remember Julie telling him, her doubts. Her job as the leader of the resistance was so important to her, it got in the way of their being in love. Julie was always there for other people.
He hoped that he would be as good of a leader as she was.
"Wherever you are, Julie, I hope that you know that I'll always love you," said Donovan.
