Farscape (The Fun Space Adventure Song)
by J.T. Marechal

I was tired of the TV. The sci-fi shows all seemed wrong.
Angsting heroes and darkness; it had gone on too long.
So, I was surfing the web sites. I read the postings, half-dazed.
Then one piece caught my attention, though it seemed a little crazed:

"If you like fun space adventure, with aliens on the run,
A blue Delvian priestess, and a chick with a gun,
A Luxan warrior with tentacles, set your videotape:
Friday nights, Sci-Fi Channel, eight o'clock, watch Farscape."

I wasn't sure what to think here. I said I'd give it a try.
I figured it can't be worse than some of the junk that's made me sigh.
So I turned on the TV, not expecting a lot,
But I was totally awestruck; I was utterly caught.

Yes, I like fun space adventure, with aliens on the run,
A living ship and her Pilot, and, oh, yes, Aeryn Sun.
I like that astronaut John Crichton, even Rygel (that jape).
Friday nights, I'll be watching: my new fave show, Farscape.

Now each Friday, I'm busy. I'm gonna tape all the shows.
I've joined all the mail lists. My addiction still grows.
I'm watching Crichton and Rygel, D'Argo, Aeryn and Zhaan,
Moya, Pilot, who's next? I tell you: I'm their biggest fan.

Do you like fun space adventure, with aliens on the run?
Who's your favorite crewmate? You know mine is Aeryn Sun.
So on this Friday evening, set up your videotape.
Watch the best sci-fi program; watch the next Farscape.

Yes, I like fun space adventure, with aliens on the run.
There must be others just like me. I know I'm not the only one.
So on this Friday evening, set up your videotape.
Watch the best sci-fi program; watch the next Farscape.

Feedback, suggestions for newer and better verses, and offers of employment welcome
