Promises.
I've made a lot in my life.
To my son.
To my wife.
To my best friend.
To my team, no one gets left behind.
My son is dead.
Sara left me. I wasn't there when she needed me most.
Frank died trying to save me. I finally forgave him in the end, but he'll never know. I should have talked to him when I had the chance.
So many broken promises. I refuse to break anymore. Even if I have to work with someone I'd much rather not see again.
Daniel and Doctor Lee are stuck in some God forsaken jungle, kidnapped.
I'm worried about leaving but I know Teal'c, Carter, and Jacob can handle things here. I know they want to come to with me but they know their mission is much too important to blow off. Even for Daniel. They can handle this one without me.
I'm coming Danny. I won't break another promise. I won't let you down. Not this time.
