The Pool

Ducky walked into the bullpen. "I just got word from the hospital about Jessica. She's a fortunate young lady, she'll live but she'll have to go through a lot of plastic surgery, lye being as corrosive as it is...”
Tony, his eyes reflecting the horror they all shared on how Petty Officer Davis could inflict such damage on anyone, let alone a child. "That's going to be expensive. I don't think her parent's insurance is going to cover that.
Gibbs walked over to Ducky, "So, how big is the pool these days?" he asked in a low voice.
"Jethro, I have no idea what you mean..."
"Yes you do. You've been holding the money." Gibbs fixed his best 'tell the truth, now, dammit" glare on his friend.
"Well it's been going on for nearly nine years, and so many dates have passed so people have been selecting new ones..." Ducky took off his glasses and polished them.
"How much?"
"About ten thousand dollars."
Gibbs took a twenty in his pocket and handed it to him. "Put Jessica down for today."
Gibbs stalked over to Tony and grabbed his head between his hands and kissed him on the mouth
