Why is she shoving me in this box? What did I do wrong? It smells new but the contents don’t. There's the odor of koolaid, dirt, dust, and.....is that mold I smell?
Is she getting rid of me? I know she’s grown a lot but she was playing with me not long ago. Have I displeased her? No! She’s closing the box! Let me out! Please don’t discard me!
It’s gone quiet and it seems like forever before the box is lifted then set down. Suddenly light fills my eyes. There she is! I sigh, relieved. I’m still wanted.
