He didn't know if he could keep doing this. It was too much of a double header, darting between towns every weekend, but he knew no one back home would understand. He was amazed he'd been welcomed at Blanche's in Los Almas and knew it was Coco's doing. If the madam ever happened to glance underneath his skirts before he shaved, he'd be railroaded.
His head rested against the stagecoach. He'd been tireder before but never for anything that made him feel so good and completed. His head drooping, Ezra didn't realize an earring was still dangling from his ear.
