Bobby was in the yard sculpting again. He watched silently as the sunlight refracted through the ice to create shimmering rainbows. So beautiful. So delicate.
So deadly.
A shiver ran down his spine as his memory overtook him. Once again the world around him dissolved away, only to be replaced by endless miles of frozen tundra and killing bitter cold. Gently, a friendly voice pulled him from his painful memories.
"What do you think?" Bobby pointed to his ice sculpture.
No one wondered why Remy was suddenly so fascinated with Bobby's ice creations. And he would never tell them.
"It's beautiful."
