The candles were lit, dinner simmering on the stove.
"Not much for romance, Abby," Jethro said softly.
"Not much used to it, if I'm not mistaken," Abby answered with a smile. "You've got nothing to worry about. It's just a dinner -- if that's all you want."
"If?"
Abby smiled as she handed Jethro a glass of bourbon. "That's right -- if. I'm not going to pressure you, but I'm not going to lie. I want you -- in my bed -- tonight." She watched the emotions play across Jethro's face. "I've wanted you for a long time, Jethro, but if you want to walk away from this with just a dinner I'm fine with that too."
Gibbs took a sip of the bourbon, rolling it around on his tongue.
"I can wait..." Abby handed Jethro a napkin when he began choking on his drink. Who knew the man could blush so easily. Tonight should be fun -- if she could get him to loosen up just a little.
