Sean's Hope
by Pirate Turner
No matter how dark their world together had grown, she had always sparkled, shining brighter than any diamond or sunlight ever could. He had come to rely on her far more than he'd ever admitted. She had become his beacon, his ray of hope in the darkest nights, but she had been stolen from him, stolen away by his own irreparable stupidity. Now, as the tired, old Irish man lay dying, he wanted only to see that beacon of shimmering perfection one more time.
Millions of miles away, Sean's hope fell to her knees, sobbing as he breathed his last.
