Summer Rain
by Pirate Turner
He watched her dance in the badly needed Summer rain and longed to join her, but his friends had yet to return from the desert. Fearing that they were lost, hot, and dying from thirst, Ezra strapped plenty of canteens onto his horse before mounting. Tipping his hat to the fair Inez, the gambler took off from the saloon. He looked up as he was flanked on either side, and his gold tooth gleamed in the setting sun. "We will find them." His companions nodded, and together, they set off, determined to find their missing and return them to safety.
