Night Winds

Night Winds
Hell fire's heat, short but sweet
and covers me in shadows, but
Heavens sweet light as the angel's
take flight gives me hope.
My soul is damned by the demon
I took by the hand, but the heart
of this man is heaven bound on a
song and a prayer.
Rejoice in my passing, no tears
and no lashing- it's the way of
the world you see.
Some die laughing and some
die cursing and some with a
gentle sigh and a soft goodbye.
Bravely I go, where the night
winds do blow. So promise me,
on bended knee that you'll
never give up the fight for whats
good, true and right and to the end
that you were my true family and
friends.
Now my end has finely come in fire
I die and my soul is cleansed and
the gates have opened as I finely
step in the pain is gone but the
love goes on.
As the night winds carry me away.
