Reunited

It was dark and raining, just as it had been that night in the alley behind W&H, but as Buffy made her way to the secluded grave under a tree, it stopped.
She looked at the small stone embedded in the ground. There were no dates inscribed; how can you place a date on the life, death and rebirth of a vampire cum human?
Slowly, she opened the small container and spread its contents over Angel's grave. He would've liked that, she was sure.
Buffy turned and looked over her shoulder one last time. She wasn't coming back.
"Goodbye Spike."
