"Xena? Yes, I remember Xena. She was a real beauty. Great warrior too."
"She's here baby, she came to see you."
"Who's here? What did you say?"
"Xena, she's here, she came to see you, I told her you were sick."
"Sick! I'm not sick! I'm fine!"
"Allright, allright, you're not sick. But do you want to see her?"
"See who?"
"Xena. Do you want to see her?"
"Sure, it'd be a real honor to meet her. Imagine that, the Warrior Princess, coming to see me. I wonder why she'd do the?"
"I told her you were sick."
"Oh. Okay, you'd better get some tea, she might be thirsty."
"You're probably right. What do you think she'd like: Mint or Lemon?"
"Lemon."
"Hello, Joxer, how are you feeling to day?"
"I'm fine. How are you?"
"I'm good? What did you say your name was?"
"Uh... Xena, do you remember me?"
"I'm sorry, but no I don't. Have we met?"
"Yes we were friends, good friends."
"Oh, I wonder when that nice young man went?"
"I'm in the kitchen honey, just getting the tea ready."
"Oh. Why don't you bring some for... I'm sorry what did you say your name was?"
"Xena."
"Oh yes, why don't you bring some tea for Xena?"
"If she wants some?"
"Yes I'd love a cup of tea, thank you."
"Tea, do we have tea?"
"Yes, and here it is."
"Oh lovely."
"Are you feeling alright, my dear?"
"What? Oh, um, no I don't think I am. Perhaps a nap?"
"Sure, why don't I help you to bed?"
"Oh there's no need for that I can make it on my own."

"He seems so lost."
"He is, Xena."
"Can't you do anything?"
"Don't you think I've tried? But this was done to him by the Fates and even Zeus can't oppose them. All I can do is keep him comfortable."
"What's going to happen to him?"
"He'll get worse until he's just a shell of his former self."
"Then why don't you just kill him, why let him suffer?"
"Because I'm afraid!"
"What?"
"He stays with me now because he's helpless. If he died he would go to the Elysian Fields. He would be strong again. He wouldn't need me."
"You can't mean that. He stays with you because he loves you."
"He doesn't remember my name."
"So what?"
"He loves you. He always has. Always will."
"She's right."
"I thought you were in bed!"
"I was. But I heard you talking. I maybe confused sometimes but there is one thing I'm sure about: I love you."
"Joxer..."
"Ares."
