A heart steeled with cold indefference,
A manner of aloof remoteness,
Emotionless effeciency, epitomizing all you are,
This, the refracted image you project,

A heart pillaged by betrayal,
A manner ravaged with despair,
Emotions fractured, but not quite shattered,
The repressed man you are,

A heart that reaches out for me - through your eyes,
A manner yearning to be set free, shows - through your eyes,
Emotions call out to overwhelm me - through your eyes,
Your veiled spirit, always visible - through your eyes,
