Ten lies Angel told about Spike and five that weren't

#1 "I didn't sire him"
He may not have taking William's life but he was responsible for Spike's creation, he was Spike's sire.
#2 "She'll always love me more."
They might have loved him first but Spike was there in all their eyes every time he looked into them.
#3 "I didn't feel him go."
So much was happening at once he didn't associate the dull ache that threatened to make him breath with Spike until he settled alone in his big empty penthouse.
#4 "It isn't working you should go."
It was working and it terrified him.
#5 "He got his soul to get into a girl's panties."
He got his soul for love, the reason he does everything.
#6 "I don't need him."
He did and it terrified him.
#7 "You are just a complete waste of my time."
Because looking at him made him hope for things he didn't deserve.
#8 "Joyce, you can't trust him. You touch her and I'll cut your head off."
He had never been able to end Spike ever.
#9 "Didn't seem worth mentioning."
He couldn't decide whether he loved or hated Spike for getting a soul like that.
#10 "Not as much as I loved your non-stop yammering."
At least then he wasn't alone.
Five that weren't

Especially when it came to love.
#2 "He's a hero."
He chose to change because it was the right thing to do.
#3 "I liked your poems."
Really he liked the passion Spike put into them the way he did everything really.
#4 "Stay."
Don't leave me.
#5 "He drives me crazy."
He does he really does but I love it.
