Tic-Tock the clock won't stop

Tic-tock the clock won't stop
red rose in the vase.
Smiling picture's of your face,
a lone tear drop that escapes.
I'm waiting in this abandoned place
you left me here walked out that
door.
Tic-tock the clock won't stop,
mocking me as I whine and beg
but you turned you head and
shut me in this place. So all I
do is pace and worry to the fate's
are you safe? are you calm? will I
ever be held in your loving arm's
again?
Tic-tock the clock won't stop as
the day slowly fades away.
The night moves in I have to grin,
remembering when we first met.
Soft brown eye's that smiled at me
nearly brought me to my knees.
Tic-tock the clock won't stop
what's that sound is it the lock
turning around? Running, panting
almost dancing as the door is opened.
A gentle voice a sweet caress a warm
safe chest to snuggle up against.
He's home, he's home I'm not alone
he's back where he belongs.
Safe and sound from the worlds
outside our door.
Tic-tock the clock won't stop
but Master's home with me.
I lay my head upon his lap as
he feeds little snacks or rubs
my belly or my back.
No need to bark or snap.
He's my world, my god, my Master
fine.
Tic-tock the clock won't stop but it
really doesn't matter when life is
sitting on a platter and just listening
to his chatter.
It's a dog's life and I couldn't be happier.
