Accidents Happen

Summary:

What happens when Bray finds out the secret that Siva is hiding?

Work Text:

Siva curled up into a ball in her bed. She hadn't spoken to Bray, or seen him in two weeks. Things with her family were really bad, and now this was happening. Her parents were getting a divorce, her two sisters were at war with one another, and now she was pregnant. She was supposed to decide which one of her parents she wanted to live with, but Siva was having trouble deciding. "I love both of my parents, and both of my sisters," Siva whispered, and she began to cry, not knowing what else that she could do.

Bray was frustrated. He paced the kitchen, trying to remember if he had said or done anything lately, that might have upset Siva. Bray just wracked his brain, but nothing came to mind. Martin, Bray's younger brother, walked into the kitchen. Martin eyed Bray suspiciously. His brother, Mr. Jock, Mr. Perfect, seemed to have something bothering him. Sitting down at the table with a grin, Martin asked, "Busy day?" Bray quit pacing, and turned Martin. The younger man seemed delighted that something was wrong.

Sighing softly, Bray sank into a chair near his brother. "Not just a busy day. The last two weeks have been real busy for me."
He said softly, trying to get a grip on things. Martin nodded, pretending to play the sympathy card. The fact that his brother
was having problems, almost made him smile. Moments later, Martin watched as Bray got up a second time. "I'm going out. I
need some fresh air." Siva woke up a while later, to the sound of someone banging on the front door. Grumbling, she got up.

Siva was not happy, about having to get up and answer the door. No one was else was home, so it was up to her to make
the noise stop. Reaching the bottom of the stairs minutes later, Siva threw open the door in anger. When she realized that
Bray was standing before her, she stared at him. "What do you want?" Her voice was shaky, but she tried her best to play
it off. Bray wondered what was wrong, why Siva was acting strange. "We need to talk, Siva." Bray said softly, concerned.

"You have been avoiding me for two weeks now. Tell me what I have done wrong. I want to make things right." Siva sighed
deeply, forcing herself to remain calm, even though she was freaking out inside. "Nothing's wrong. I've just been a bit busy
lately, you out of everyone, know what that is like." She lied, wondering if Bray could tell she was lying. Bray stared at Siva.
"You can't be that busy. I mean, what could be so important, that you have been skipping school for the last two weeks?"

Bray asked, concerned. Siva looks Bray in the eye, and then said, "I'm pregnant. That's my reason for not being in school,
for the last two weeks. Okay? I just found out two weeks ago, and I haven't gone back to school since." Bray was shocked.
"I... I don't know what to say." Bray said softly. Siva shrugged. "What's there to say, Bray? There's nothing to say. What's
done is done. Accidents happen, right?" Bray, who was still reeling from the shocking news, missed what Siva had just said.

Coming back to reality moments later, he said, "What?" Siva sighed softly. "I said, what's there to say? There's nothing to
say. Accidents happen, right?" Bray stared at his girlfriend. "So, that's it? You were just going to kill our child, or give it up,
without even telling me about it, or asking me what I think?" Bray demanded angrily. Siva felt herself getting angry too. "It
is my body, and my baby, Bray. You have no say, in what I do or don't do. I am in control of this!" Siva angrily informs him.

She went back inside the house, slamming the door behind her. Bray knew that his temper was reaching a dangerous level,
so he turned around and went back home. He knew that he was going to blow up soon. Siva called her mother's cell phone.
"Mom? It's Siva. I need you to bring me to the clinic." Siva was crying as she called her mother. She wasn't ready to have
a baby, and knew that Bray wasn't ready either. An hour later, she and her mother pull up at the clinic, and Siva got out.
Walking into the clinic, tears fell from her eyes, and she followed the doctor to a room, feeling like her life was gonna end.

The End
